Loved the history and the displays throughout the tour. The views through the telescopes brought it to life.

So this iconic building has made it bigger than ever.. with an interactive demonstration and the history importance to its community. Definitely a must see. I first saw it and went up in 1999, and love to see its endurance through out the years. I would recommend it to anyone of all ages. A must see!

So we visited the top of the rock in the day and empire state at night. The views are similar but the experience is so so so much better at the empire state. It was busy because we went at sunset but it was absolutely spectacular. The pre-view museum was really well done, the photo with Kong looked epic (and was free) and the staff were all friendly and super helpful!! Top of the rock felt like they just wanted your money and for you to leave, empire state felt like they wanted you to have a great time. If you can I would suggest you visit both and with CityPASS you can. In fact you could visit three times - empire state twice (day and night) with sunset included free AND visit top of the rock. Don’t forget to use the extra retail shop discounts. Also for us we did consider buying the express pass but in fact the lines weren’t as long as people online make out so at 8.30pm in July there were longer queues to get out (approx 15 mins) than to get in!! Thank you empire state we made some family memories last night 😊.

Excellent engaging activities in the design and history of the Empire State Bldg! Even riding the elevator was exciting with construction videos above us! Very excellent service and well coordinated with crowd control..... We thoroughly enjoyed our visit! Thank you!

This review happened on June 2024. My wife and I were on a vacation in New York and we visited the Empire State Building. Its a tourist this you have to do. They have a museum inside that explains the history of the Empire State Building. Talks about its historical importance to the City of New York and the world. They also have a display that looks the King Kong is out side building climbing it like the famous movie. They also have a picture station of his hand so it looks likes he is holding you. When you get up they have a section you walk around that enclosed and you can see all around New York. When you take the next elevator it leads to an outer walkway that goes all the way around. Again you can see all around New York. You can take some great pictures here. This is a tourist trap but You have to do it so you can at least say you did it. They have a gift shop when you exit, it sales Empire State Building related products. The employees where nice. Nothing amazing but views are. You have to it once in your life. I recommend you go.

Nice views but totally overpriced and terrible security staff at the scanners, who will slam trays together with your personal belongings in them so your cell, glasses, shades and watches end up banging together and scratching up. Then when I asked them to please not slam them together they became rude and insulting. Other staff in the building was nice. The security staff at the scanners at 2 pm on July 1, 2024 should be fired.

As a person that is usually afraid of heights I didn't think that this would be something that I would like. Well I couldn't be more wrong. I totally enjoyed this. It was exhilarating!
