This tour was an unexpected delight. I did not anticipate such excellence in every aspect. First, the boat, King of Thebes, was fantastic. It featured comfortable, air-conditioned rooms, delicious food with a wide selection, a pool, jacuzzi, spa, and outstanding service from everyone. Special thanks to Sammy. Second, our tour guide, Talaat Abdo, was knowledgeable, caring, and managed the tight schedule efficiently. I felt well taken care of at all times.
Lastly, all the trips and activities were incredible. The balloon ride was breathtaking, and I will always treasure the fun we had during our Egyptian party night. There were two optional activities: the light show and a visit to a Nubian Village near the Aswan Dam. I chose the second one, and it was truly fun and relaxing—a refreshing change from the constant monument visits. We swam in the Nile and had a great time attending a school with a real teacher who treated us like kindergarteners—LOL. Entrance fees to the sites are not included, but you have the option to purchase them upfront when you arrive at the boat for the same price, saving time at the sites. Every site is worth visiting, but if you decide not to visit one, the guide will refund your money. This is an amazing tour. Thank you all for an incredible four days!

We are 3 friends traveling together in Egypt and our impressive is that overall cruise experience was okay, but *we have the following comments*:
**Positive Points:**
**Guide Knowledge:**
Talaat Abdo *seemed to have* a good understanding of the temples' history and provided informative explanations.
**Tips Package:**
Talaat handled all tips for $17, which was convenient given the frequent tipping requests in Egypt. *The cruise crew and the drivers were very helpful and we received no requests for extra tips.*
**Areas for Improvement:**
**Guide Behavior and Attitude:**
Talaat often made inappropriate *touching and sexist jokes and comments*, and seemed impatient with questions *from the group*. *One of us also felt looked in an innapropriate way
He sometimes blamed the group for the tour's itinerary *(which is exclusively determined by the tour company, we just bought the package offered)* and fatigue, which was unprofessional.
*Also, he made or suggested alterations to the original agenda of the tour, without proper clarification to the group and without mentioning that he was changing it. For exemple: on our last day he tried to take us to all the other activities of the 4th day in sequence, without returning to the cruise, to finish the schedule ahead (as a consequence, we would have to check out at 4 am and eat breakfast from lunchboxes instead of eating on the cruise and check out at 8am.) When my friends and I mentioned that we preferred to keep the schedule per Viator description, he tried to convince the rest of the group in the opposite way, to create a dispute to support what he was trying to change. Having not succeeded, he seemed upset, he was not with us to appear to take the hot air baloon tour, and haven't walked us to the Valley of the Kings after that, while other guides were with their groups
*Finally, he tried to convince us to give him a feedback online while he was standing in front of us (which we declined). He did the same with the other group members, which was very unprofessional
**Overall Impression:**
The schedule of the cruise was good, our group was very friendly and we have the chance of seeing most of the temples around the Nile but Talaat's behavior significantly detracted from the experience. Professionalism and respect were lacking, and I would not recommend this tour with his as guide without significant improvements.

Talaat abdo is the best tour guide I have had and I have been all around the world. He looked after everything and helped us all of the way to enjoy the trip and even explained how everything works! Make sure you request for Talaat in your trip !

Talaat Abdo is an amazing guide with lots of insights and expertise on Ancient Egypt as well as the towns we visited along the Nile River. He is also close with everyone on the trip and makes everyone feel included. All of the activities were fulfilling and entertaining.

Talaat Abdo is a great tour guide, a lot of fun and very knowledgeable. My family had a wonderful time. We visited several temples learning about the ancient Egyptians and their culture. Talaat not only informed us but also joined us at the evening party where the guest dressed in traditional Egyptian clothing.

All of our Vegan accommodations were met, which was our initial concerns before booking the tour. Good experience overall, I really appreciated that the tour guide suggested using the Van instead of using horses to visit some of the temples because of the conditions of which these animals were in.
I would also NOT recommend doing the Numbian Village tour because of the terrible confinements of which the crocodiles were in.
