This tour was a highlight of our 4 day trip in Tokyo. Just the perfect amount of ride combined with stops and brief historical and cultural overviews. Our guide Akio was fantastic, great as a person, not just a tour guide, as we conversed about our daily lives, as well as vacations and families. We planned it for our 2nd full day and arranged the rest of our days to maximize coverage of the city and got lucky as the day was the only one without rain. If your family can do about 15-16 miles of easy bike riding this is not to miss providing a much needed break for your feet from all the walking!

Didn’t push through due to rain. Waiting for my refund. Would’ve loved to push through but time not permitting. Will definitely try again when I go back to Japan , which is almost 1x year.

We scheduled this bike tour at the last minute since we only had one day left in Tokyo and wanted to absorb as much of the city as we could in the very small amount of time we had left. Thankfully, I was able to get in to the 6-hr full city tour. The tour was great! Our primary guide, Mariko, was excellent (even though it was only her 5th tour!) We also had a couple of more veteran guides assisting, although they let Mariko do most of the work. I was pleased with the variety of locations we went to. You hit Buddhist and Shinto shrines, plus the Tokyo Tower, a traditional cemetery, a fancy shopping mall (my least favorite stop, but it did allow us to grab some water,) and the Imperial palace, among others. There were additional stops along the way not listed on the official itinerary, like the Olympic Stadium. It was informative and fun, and made for a great cap to our Japan vacation. No significant negatives, although my bike made a strange clicking noise, but it didn't seem to affect the functioning of the bike. It was just loud. Highly recommended!

We saw a lot of the city through this tour. It is nice that you can see in advance in the description which places you will visit with the tour, so that you can take this into account when you view the city in advance. The only downside was that the route was not logically planned. When we arrived at the last destination, we then had to cycle another hour back to the meeting point.

We had a great time. Superb guiding by Aiko and his team. Patient and kind to less talented cyclists and very nice people to be with. They flexed our tour as a last minute booking and gave interesting information.

This was a great introduction to Tokyo! We did this on our first full day and covered a lot of ground (15 miles in 6 hours) and got in a great workout. We learned about the history and culture of Japan, along with some quirky and interesting things (like the business card boxes). We stayed in the shade a lot and had enough breaks for bathrooms and water. Great recommendations for lunch and for things to do after. Thank you to Akio and the ladies for a great first day in Tokyo! Highly recommend if you’re in moderately good shape, are decent on a bicycle, and love an adventure! (Also really appreciate that there was a guide at the back of the group who was a “sweeper” - definitely helpful in a big city with road crossings and traffic lights… not every bike tour does this, but they should!)

Lots of fun riding a bike around the back streets and main roads of Tokyo. Easy riding mostly with few hills and safe on the roads. Informative guides with plenty of local knowledge to answer your questions.
