We worked with David Walworth, an MIT educated Naval Architect and Principal Engineer known for his high-efficiency catamaran designs, to build the perfect boat for our trips from scratch.
Our amazing crew are closely trained by our Honest Eco Biologists. Crew training starts on land with research and mission alignment before moving onto the water where we hone our seamanship skills and work to become as effective as possible at delivering on our Purpose.

Great boat trip, small numbers so felt very safe. Lots of local knowledge and very chilled. Definitely worth the money, I’d recommend to anyone.

Amazing, we saw so many dolphins! They came right up to the boat and spent some time with us! Saw several pods and mom/baby. Staff very knowledgable. Beautiful boat ride, very comfortable and calm and scenic with plenty of room to sit or stand and move around boat. Nice bathroom on board. Great snacks (fresh fruit veggies and hummus ). Snorkeling was fun with so many colorful fish. Guide went snorkeling with us and helped to point things out. Saw shark and manatee near dock afterwards. Overall highlight of keys trip for sure.

First and foremost, book with Honest eco itself. I did it with Viator and they are more expensive than Honest Eco was (Abby was very helpful). Eric and Brian were our guides and they were both amazing. We saw 8 dolphin and they even swam up to the boat. Then we went snorkeling and it was a great family experience. Will book with them again. You should too.

Eric and Brian are amazing! The boat ride was fun and relaxing. We had dolphins swim right up to the boat. It was amazing to see the dolphins jumping and playing! The guided snorkeling was perfect because despite the churned up water from all the wind and rain, Brian was able to point out rays and many different fish to our kids. Both Eric and Brian are very knowledgeable about the area and the wildlife and are great at sharing that knowledge. We would recommend this tour over all others and if we find ourselves back in the Keys, we would book this tour again.

We had a wonderful adventure with captain Eric and Brian! They were extremely knowledgeable and helpful all throughout the trip. We were able to see dolphins, sting ray and a multitude of other wildlife along the reef. Brian even gave us a locals perspective of recommendations for bars and restaurants! We had a spectacular time and I love supporting a local business!

Our Dolphin Watch and Snorkel cruise with Honest Eco was everything we hope for in a tour. Our tour group was small, and our crew was extremely kind and knowledgeable. I really appreciated the company’s focus on minimally impacting the marine ecosystems we visited. We stopped at two snorkel sites and saw several dolphins. The fresh fruit and veggie snacks and chilled water were a great touch. I would highly recommend, and I will book with them on future trips to Key West.

This was a wonderful tour. The guide was very knowledgable and the trip was small (only 7 of us on board.). We saw dolphins but did not disturb them and the guide was able to tell us alot about dolphin behavior as we watched them. We then went snorkeling at a reef which was beautiful and the guide took us around and identified many of the fish and the ray/shark and barracuda that we saw. We were able to wear the snorkeling gear that we wanted to wear (unlike a very large group on a different boat who all had to use pool noodles). We then were taken to another snorkeling spot where we were the only group present.
This trip is a bit more costly than some of the other tours, but Honest Eco takes a lot of care to protect its passengers and the ocean and the reef. Totally worth the cost and such a wonderful trip. We saw so many things and the guide was so informed! COuldn't have asked for a better excursion!

We had a beautiful day out on the water with Sean and Reid. They were friendly and fun and took us to a great snorkeling location with so much to see. Watching the fish in their natural habitat is so special. We saw rays slowly sailing by, fish you only see on a screen, and even a shark patrolling. They take their preservation efforts seriously, even stopping to get a plastic bottle and a piece of styrofoam out of the water. It was exciting and memorable. Thank you!
