For a truly memorable visit to Niagara, take a thrilling journey down the Niagara River on an open-air jet boat. You will experience what we like to call our white water playground where the Class V Devil's Hole Rapids will get you completely soaked. After that thrilling experience you will travel up the river to the farthest point in the trip where you will see the famous Niagara Whirlpool. The Whirlpool and Niagara Falls are separated by a stretch of Class VI rapids that are unnavigable (and illegal) to pass through. This tour departs from the American side, and you return to the same location.

What a fun adventure! Definitely recommend the jet boat for a unique experience of Niagara. The views were stunning, and even though the weather was terrible during our time, we still had a blast!

Just spent almost $300 for a “wet” ride and photo package. We were the first there but had to wait for kids life jackets. We ended up being last on the boat. The diesel engines were deafening (my hearing may be damaged) and we had no clue what the tour guide was saying the entire time. Got off the boat completely dry except for our bottoms which were wet from the seats. When I spoke to someone about our experience all they said was that’s weird and sorry. 0/10 would not recommend! I’d ride the maid of the mist 2 more times before I wasted my money with this company again.

We packed a lot into our 3 day Niagara Falls NY trip, but this was the favorite for sure. If you like fast boat rides and you like getting drenches, this is the best way to go! We loved every minute. Also, front row for the wettest seat! Ella was our fabulous guide.

The highlight of our trip to Niagara. The grandchildren (14 & 10) can’t stop talking about it. Check in and orientation were prompt and easy and our guide was enthusiastic and fun. Don’t imagine you will have one dry inch on you when you’re done but it is totally worth it! What a thrill ride!

Raced from our private tour of Niagara Falls with @The Daily Trips (another 5 Star review — go check it out!) and so thrilled we made it and got both in in one day.
The staff (and there’s sooo many awesome young staff members) at Wet Jet - Lewiston are incredible. So personable and accommodating. We were a party of 3 today: 2 best friends (females) and my 10 year old thrill-seeking son.
If you’re on the fence (and why would you be? but if you are…) don’t wait. Book it NOW. and 100% get the photo/video package. Worth every single penny. It’s an adventure that words don’t really do justice to - and the views and the water are magnificent in ways you can’t explain. The power, sheer power, of the rapids is other-worldly. The captain and the “tour guide” are the two who accompany you on your trip.
Tip 1: while your tour guide is talking on the boat, pull your poncho behind your ears. You wouldn’t believe how muffled that super thin blue thingy makes the cool stories and facts they’re telling you.
Tip 2: Make note when you are putting your life vests on where the go-pro(s) are on your boat. We were in boat 14. There was one in immediate front and one about 2/3 of the way back. We were in the 7th row I think with 2 empty rows behind us. In almost all our incredible pics, the awesome lady we rode with in row 6 immediately in front of us (sitting in the middle — it wasn’t her first rodeo) got some of the best shots from the ride. She was extra awesome, so love that for her (and her husband).
Tip 3: doesn’t matter left or right side. So don’t worry about it. You’re leaving soaked. Period.
Tip 4: TIP YOUR CAPTAIN/guide.
Tip 5: Tighten your life jacket before you board. There’s a semi-hidden strap on the bottom just below the vest.
Tip 6: If you have a littler one (my 10 year old is about 4’3”, 75ish pounds, thin), sandwich them between you and another person in your party. Have them hold on for dear life with both hands. You and your other party hold onto the death railing in front of you with your OUTSIDE hands. Put your inside hands closet to your little one fingers down directly in between the front and back of the vest on their side, on the bottom or 2nd from bottom strap, keeping the thumb out. Grip like their life depends on it.
Tip 7: Try the hot chocolate.
Tip 8: the water (at least in June for us Floridians) is a bit… startling. Consider it a cold facial with a full body car wash upgrade. Particularly on the first rapid, it comes in swift and strong. It’s amazing. Just buckle up and enjoy it.
Go sign up. Like now. Cannot WAIT to come back. We were plotting on the boat right before our final rapids ride how many people we like enough to bring with us so we can secure the whole boat next time. These are core memories you’ll never ever forget. And you’ll have the videos and pictures to prove it to yourself and others in case you do. :)
