I highly recommend this activity, it was very enriching and I learned a lot about the different districts of Singapore we visited. Special mention to Gerry who was our guide during this tour and who spared no effort to make this experience unforgettable and to ensure that we got the best service everywhere we went.

An amazing tour of the neighborhoods of Singapore. It was such a privilege to have an insider peek into the cultures and foods which make up Singapore. This tour is extremely well run and professional. Gerry our guide is a walking encyclopedia about the history of these communities. This tour takes you well of the beaten path and we saw places we would never have discovered on our own.

I would recommend this tour to anyone who wants to explore the real Singapore and sample much if it's diverse cultures and foods.

We've been on many food tours around the world and Gerry's tour by far stands out as one of the best. Book it! You won't regret it.

Amazing tour of local businesses. We were able to try so many foods and learned a lot about the local history. My entire family, including 2 teens ages 17 and 19 LOVED the entire experience! Gerry was so warm and authentic - he took care of everything from start to finish. It felt like visiting and seeing the city with an old friend!

We were in Singapore for a conference and decided to book this walking food tour with some fellow conference goers. Our tour guide, Gerry, was fantastic, he was very knowledgeable about the history of the area, he even brought a tablet to show us historical pictures of some of the places that we visited. In Chinatown, we ate at a local market and Gerry, ordered a table full of different local dishes for us to try "family style" which was way more than any of us could eat. Then in Little India, we ate at a local restaurant where Gerry again ordered several dishes for us to try "family style", it was a good thing that this was a walking tour so that we could work off some of the food from Chinatown, however, it was still an abundance of very good indian food. The last of the tour was in the beautiful Malay Quarters.

Another great thing about this tour is that we had to use the subway system to get to the different locations, this was a great introduction to the system and we ended up using it throughout the rest of our visit to Singapore.

Overall, this was tour was very much well worth it, Gerry was fun and entertaining and most accommodating to us all. Later during our visit to Singapore we were able to go back to some of the places that Gerry took us and take our time to do a little more extensive shopping.

Such a great food tour! Gerry was so sweet and very knowledgeable about the food and the cultural significance of each of the neighborhoods. We ate so much that it basically covered 2 meals, and any leftovers were thankfully packed up and given away. Such a great way to explore the city and definitely get your money's worth!

We are foodies at heart and opened ourselves to Gerry our guide and host. Gerry gave us a detailed agenda for the day and it was amazing! We ate, drank, shopped, and learned about the people, culture, and history of Singapore! The food was super authentic, flavorful, and some of the best food we have ever eaten! Gerry our host was laid back, super organized, and informative. We left the tour with not only a new appreciation of Singapore and its people but also with a new friend in our host Gerry who we connected with and trust completely. As educators, we learned so much from Gerry, felt safe, and enjoyed one our best days traveling ever!
Sincerely,
Toby and Ina Holmes

By far one of the best food tours I've ever done. Not only outstanding food and diverse authentic settings but great company of a small group of well travelled intersting people.Gerry was an amazing person. So keen to share his own thoughts and experiences. Clearly interested in us too.
This isn't a tour its an experience. Travelling between the different cultural quarters via different modes of transport was helpful to orientate me to Singapore. Worth every cent 👌

Gerry is an amazing tour guide. Very organized with tons of historical perspectives around the food, the historical background to Singapore. He shared photos of then and now which really helps to see how things have changed over time. He explained how we were supporting several families through the food we were sharing. Plus leftovers were gathered up to distribute to the needy.
He is very flexible and considerate of everyone in the group. Highly recommend asking to Gerry.
