This may have been my family’s favorite part of our Scotland trip! Our guide was very knowledgeable and Rosslyn Chapel is a must see. It’s stunning to look at and almost magical to experience. We greatly enjoyed the day. My mother has chronic pain that makes it difficult for her to walk long distances and this tour was very easy for her.

Our tour guide Bryan was very nice, knowledgeable and put a dash of his own tales during the trip. The visit to Rosslyn Chapel was unforgettable! There was so much to explore and see in and on this historical building, we ventured to Melrose Abbey and had lunch, the Abbey was under reconstruction so we got a reduction of the entry price. A very beautiful place! At the Scottish viewpoint Bryan even helped us to take pictures in front of the dramatic and beautiful landscape, we ended the tour by looking at the statue of William Wallace and taking a Scenic route back to Edinburgh. This was a part of our honeymoon and we recommend this for those who love nature and beautiful architecture!

It is an excellent day trip with a decent duration of driving around interesting historical points. Rosslyn Chapel was a very attractive place and the presentation of the in-house guide was very helpful. Our guide/driver Declan did a great job to make us prepared for each place with historical facts and local stories. I would definitely recommend this trip to visitors.

The sites themselves were spectacular and everything I’d hope to see. But we arrived late to Rosslyn Chapel, which was very crowded. This meant, we didn’t hear the entire presentation by the guide nor did we have a seat. We were all tucked back into a little corners of the chapel, trying to listen, and see the details the presenter pointed out.

Our driver was very friendly but talked too much. That might sound a bit odd but he talked so much that it was like he was uncomfortable with a second or two of silence. He talked quickly and jumped around to different topics, it was hard to understand. It would have been nice for him to give us a moment to take in what he was saying with the scenery rather than ramble on.

Overall, it was a decent tour for getting out of bustling Edinburgh and seeing a bit of the countryside.

Roslyn chapel was great, good timing, we got short talk inside. Melrose Abby magnificent, a lot of history. Downside of our trip - our guide was young man with heavy accent, did speak fast so it was very difficult to understand. Good view out points

Jim, our tour guide, was excellent! He was very knowledgeable, funny, and friendly. He was even kind enough to let me borrow a coin to use the bathroom in Melrose. The sights were so beautiful along with the country side. This was a great tour!
