From beginning to end this trip was fantastic! Our guide Pete was funny, knowledgeable, warm and friendly! At no time was there a dull moment on the trip--his stories kept everyone involved. First stop was in Jedberg to see the Cathedral and town and take a pit stop--enough time. Majority of your trip will be spent at stops to see the Wall and walk along it and at Vendolanda which is fantastic--great museum and archaeological site. Nothing disappointing about the trip at all.

One tip--come prepared for any weather as it changed throughout the day. Definitely wear the right shoes--no flip flops--good hiking boots/sturdy shoes--and bring a light jacket/rain gear for sure. I also brought along some snacks and water--came in very handy as there are limited options for food (very limited options) Also--your trip will last all day! Left at 8:15 a.m. returned about 6:30 p.m. but well worth it--just seeing the countryside alone was worth the price of admission!

Ally P made everything come alive. He has so much knowledge and kept the tour light and entertaining with great music. We will definitely be back and book through Rabbies again because of him. The sights were also wonderful.

This tour was excellent! Our tour guide was super knowledgeable and made sure we had ample time in each place but didnt spend too long anywhere. He also had tons of fun and informative stories for in-between stops when we were driving. The stops are absolutely amazing. Would 100 percent recommend!

I think the most memorable part was the context that our guide (Dave) gave to the region and history. He talked about the “borders“ region, the origin of the word “turncoat,“ and various other tidbits about the region. I had a great time.

Fantastic day journeying out to see Hadrian's Wall. Jedburgh was a quaint town we stopped at to look at the Abbey. Vindolando was magnificant. If you are into Roman history, this is the tour for you. Dave our driver/guide was awesome. He explained everything to us and knows a ton of history. It is a long day, but well worth it!

Very good tour. The guide did some extra stops for us!
On the way back maybe too much personal talk between the guide/driver and one passenger in the back of the bus. The rest of us just had to listen...
