good tour with live actors etc and plenty of information, not quite sure how jack the ripper and sweeney todd fitted in but still quite enjoyable

Im a British citizen and been to London loads of times for work and pleasure. I’ve never really been into the touristy things because as a British citizen I often think “why should I bother?” But this place is definitely worth a visit.
My only complaint is how long it takes to start the experience. From the moment we were admitted it felt like we were still queuing for a good 20-30 minutes to actually start the tour… but once it starts it’s unforgettable.
It’s definitely worth visiting. It’s a brutal and interactive insight into our history and the gruesome but very real experience of living in Britain in historical times. The actors are superb and i absolutely loved it. I went with friends but I’d bring my children here though I suggest it’s not suitable for children under 10 years of age. It can get a bit scary at times.
But it’s great fun. Lasts about 90 minutes. Thank god there’s a bar at the end because a stiff drink is probably needed afterwards!
Just go and enjoy it.
No photos as cameras are strictly not allowed but you’ll understand why when you’re there

Not quite what we were hoping unfortunately, don't mind a little roleplay from the actors as adds to the tour but what we really wanted was some good clear history explained of that period & not some sort of Shakespearean stage show where you actually got little very information but in place just some over the top acting, yes I'm probably a grumpy old sod but could do so much better.

It was a really amazing experience, the way they all performed, the accuracy of the smell, and the effects were just amazing, would definitely visit again on my next trip!

This is a great fun way to learn about the history of London. It's not for the faint hearted and I wouldn't recommend this for children under 12 as some of it is a bit grim but the staff were really good and it was thoroughly enjoyable and entertaining. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is due to the £75 entry fee which in my opinion is overpriced especially as it only takes about an hour and a half from start to finish so thank goodness we have Merlin passes.
