The tour was great, with marvellous calm, blue sky weather. The Earnslaw has a bar and had a singer/pianist. Commentary was provided pointing our local features and it was very relaxing and enjoyable 90 minute trip.

This trip on the lake is so amazing. I’ve done it about 10 times over the years …. with lunch or afternoon tea or the farm experience with grand kids. Or just the trip over and back like today. Either way is lovely. The views of the mountains as you chug across the lake, the piano music, the happy chatter of everyone on board is enhanced with a glass of mulled wine from the bar. Perfection.

We just did the cruise. Very charming. The boat is over 100 years old but authentically restored and comfortable. Able to see the engine room and coal being shoveled in. Nice food with drinks also available for purchase. Several options available for cruise types and times.

We went for a cruise on the Earnslaw we havent been on this for a very long time and it is still enjoyable now. There has been a lot of work done on the boat to keep it in top condition and it still looks amazing. A great tourist ride to see the scenery from the lake.

Great day out, experiencing the last ever steamship in Qt, on an enjoyable cruise across Lake Whakapitu. Our 2 course bbq lunch at Walter Peaks was delicious, with a wide selection of choices for all. Experiencing the locally produced food was really wonderful and we found it to be very tasty & beautifully presented. Kim, the border collie, and Quinn's sheep shearing demo finished off a very informative & enjoyable farm visit. We loved the pigs too!

The cruise was amazing and the views were stunning. Was really cool to look around the ship. The only thing is it would have been nice to have longer than 10 minutes to look around Walter Peak.

This was a wonderful experience even though it was raining on the day we went. The boat was so comfortable and it felt so magical sailing down the lake. The coffee and selection of food was amazing and each staff member was polite and helpful.

Beautiful, relaxing trip around Lake Wakapiti; although we did not get off for the farm experience, others told us that it is wonderful and well worth the price

A very pleasant cruise up Lake Wakatipu on a vintage steamer on a lovely winter's day when the scenery looked awesome.

Lyn was very rude and disrespectful. It became about race and class. I wasn't an asian client and she treated me with unprofessionalism. I made a mistake and thought I purchased the bbq. my son walked off the boat when she was talking to me she had a audience and I said I was going to get me son who has special needs off the boat she grabbed my arm physically. this shocked and embarrassed me. I also purchased a coffee for my wife and son which she said she would make as soon as we get started again. that never happened she told my wife she was washing the dishes and begin serving others. I didn't want to confront her but it made me so upset I did. racist person against black or non asian people.
