Preveli's beach is one of the most famous and beautiful beaches of Crete 40 km distance from Rethymno city. It's a place with a stunning beauty because of a palm forest which is on the bank of a large river, the second biggest palm forest of Crete. You can walk across the river under the shadow of the palm trees and walk up to the wonderful gorge. The access to the beach will be by boat and at the end of the excursion , you will have time for lunch in the taverns of Damnoni beach , another wonderful place.

I was afraid of the organization, but in the end it was super super good we loved it, the two beaches were super beautiful, the Preveli beach is really the most beautiful of all with its magnificent river
Concerning the guide he was very good, organized and knows how to speak French

An amazing trip to see the sights of Preveli Palm Beach. A glorious day, the hottest on our holiday which brought out the finest in the sights. We were picked up from outside our hotel and driven through the gorge down to the beach to be picked up by a private boat and taken to Preveli beach. Three hours to explore the sights then back on the boat and back to another beach. Visited a taverna and had a nice meal. The guide was excellent! The boat was extra and we booked the rough our hotel but direct is cheaper. 10Euros for the boat. An amazing experience!

This was a very enjoyable trip. The guide, Edit i think her name is, was very enthusiastic and knowledgeable and shared many useful and informative snippets of info on our journey. We stopped ata gorge for some scenic pics, then went on a lovely boat trip from Dannone (?) beach to Preveli, which was very scenic and a pleasure. We returned to Dannone for a couple of hours where we enjoyed a very nice meal in a delightful sheltered Taverna on the beach. An enjoyable day out for children and adults
