What an excellent day! Basel picked me up from my hotel from 7am and we arrived at Petra at 10:45. Basel spoke perfect english and was an incredibly safe driver! He was also very knowledgable about Jordan.
While at Petra, I had a great time and was able to make it up to the monastery. Tour guide was great as well. I returned to Basel’s car 1 hour late and Basel had no problem with this. We went straight back to my hotel after.
Highly recommend this tour/driver for anyone who wants to visit Petra. Ask for Basel!

We had 12 hours of connecting time in Amman and decided to take a tour and visit Petra. Our driver Amer was waiting for us at the airport and texted me before we even left the airplane.
The three hours drive to Patra was very enjoyable with Amer, but the return was even better. We spent the time talking about movies and music. What a knowledgeable person!
In Petra, we had time enough to visit the main locations and enjoy that beautiful place.
Looking forward to coming back with more time and spending some time getting to visit Amman with Amer.

Mr Hasan from Zaid Tours was our driver and guide during our 3 days in Jordan. He speaks very good English and is very friendly. He was incredibly responsive from the start of our stay and reviewed our itinerary and made suggestions we welcomed (so happy we did). Hasan sure we experienced as many wonderful sites as possible in Jordan. He recommended us to the local food and even treated us to a cup of coffee on an early morning pick up. He brought us to shops with of quality with local prices. He went above and beyond at every chance and we truly are grateful to have had this experience with him. Hasan is very responsible and reliable, he truly touched our hearts with his care and hospitality. We highly recommend him.

This excursion is very well organized
the driver is very nice
After a little tour in Amman, he takes you breakfast of excellent falafel then departure for Petra
there a French speaking guide was waiting for me
he was very friendly and very knowledgeable
the visit with him was very interesting
the site is beautiful
With the wadi rum m, these are the two things impossible not to do if you are in Jordan
I advise you to do it with this operator, the organization is perfect and the attention to the customer maximum.

The walk through the siq and the first sight of the treasury is quite awe inspiring. The remainder of the site is also impressive but with little to see inside it can get hot and tiring as you walk further into the valley.
Mo our guide was excellent and gave us a good insight into all things historical.
Obviously the place is full of tourists and all the downsides that go with that....the main irritation in Petra being the continual pestering by the locals, which starts with the 'not so free' horse ride and then goes up a few more levels as you get further in.
Whilst I understand that any tourist site is a welcome source of income for the locals, the touting in Petra was a turn off and ironically we spent far more at the other sites we visited in Jordan where the locals were far more laid back.
