A local guide will show you all of the highlights of Acadia National Park plus the famous Somes Sound and Asticou Gardens!
We will pick you up and we’ll drive along the stunning 27-mile long Park Loop Road up to the summit of Cadillac Mountain, the highest peak on the eastern seaboard. From Cadillac you can see spectacular views of Bar Harbor and the surrounding islands.
See all of the famous sites on the Park Loop Road, including Cadillac Mountain, Rockefeller’s stone bridges & Carriage House, Otter Cliffs, Thunder Hole, and Sieur du Monts Gardens and Nature Center. See Sand Beach surrounded by the famous pink granite coastline.
We will continue out of the park to see the summer colony of Northeast Harbor and stroll through the famous Asticou Gardens. See gorgeous harbors, yachts and picnic boats.
We can stop and stay as long as you would like at each location. We will point out trailheads and carriage roads to explore on your own.

Perfect option for folks without cars Private tour of all the hot spots around Acadia These tours usually bank on guide and Bill thursten was great He’s native and the accent makes the stories and history of park and area come alive He hits all the spots at your discretion of time We had no sun and rain threats but made it to all except the sandy beach due to crowds Only issue is that if you have a car this tour basically did what a day tripper could hit We preferred the tour

Our tour guide and driver Pete was wonderful! He called a few hours before our scheduled pick up to share details. Pete was very knowledgeable about the park and history of the area. He was so thoughtful in considering my MIL in terms of where he could drop us off and how long the mini walks would be. Our fav stop was “Pete’s Point” - an unmarked spot with amazing views! Highly recommend this tour, especially if you get Pete!

Pete was great, and it was wonderful getting an overview of Acadia to set us up for the rest of our week in Bar Harbor. He gave us important history, recommendations, and advice for how to spend the rest of the week. He recommended hikes and other experiences that were important to round out our trip. It gave us great insight into Mt Desert Island from an insider’s perspective.

Pete Mancuso provided my family and I a 4hr private tour through Acadia National Park on Saturday, July 20, 2024. Pete was incredibly knowledgeable providing us with the detail and history of the National Park, Bar Harbor, and the state of Maine. His enjoyable personality made us very comfortable in asking any questions we had along the way. It was a great day of fun, thank you for the wonderful experience!

Was a very pleasant and fun tour. 3 hours would have been enough. Especially the Cadilac Mountain was nice and the rocks and sunny beach

We really enjoyed learning the history of the park. Jeff made the day relaxing and interesting. We started at Cadillac Mountain and it got better after that! We found some places we'll definitely be returning to.

Rogier was a great guide. In spite of a very foggy day up on Cadillac mountain we enjoyed the space. All the other stops were relaxing and fun. We never felt rushed and were well informed about what to look for at each location. The van was clean and comfortable. I highly recommend this for a family or small group. A private guide is the way to go.

We had a great experience on this tour. Unfortunately we had a terribly foggy day so some of the views were hindered but we learned a lot and still got some wonderful picture spots. Caleb was a wonderful guide and would highly recommend him. He was very knowledgeable, witty and funny. He mixed perfectly with our family. Would very much recommend this personalized tour!
