Had a small hiccup with the booking system, but my inquiry through Amigo Tours website was responded accordingly. Pleasant visit in the afternoon, with very knowledgeable & friendly guide (Christina). Instructions regarding meeting point etc. were easy to follow.

It is a beautiful park and absolutely worth a visit! The park guide was very nice, spoke understandable English and explained the history of the park in detail. I would like to give Silvia 5 stars!!! Communication with Amigo Tours was easy via WhatsApp. The location for the meeting point was sent with a GPS location. What was a real shame is that the tour is ONLY possible with a guide and only at booked times! Our tour would have been at 5 p.m. But it didn't start until around 5:15 p.m., even though you are specifically told to be there 10 minutes earlier! We took a taxi to the meeting point to be there on time (4:45 p.m.) and had to wait for almost half of the group because they simply arrived later... The tour is scheduled to last around 75 minutes. Our bus back to the hotel would not have been possible if the tour had started late and we had explored a bit on our own. For this reason, we stopped the guided tour halfway through. I would have expected more consistency from the organizer here! You might think that's petty, but with so many attractions and so few time slots in this great city, it's very annoying. Especially since we only found out in the morning at the park entrance that entry is ONLY possible with a guided tour! A simple visit without a guided tour is not possible at all, despite the Go City Pass! So we booked the only possible time for us (5 p.m.) and at the start of the tour we were seriously asked whether we wanted the guided tour or wanted to go in alone.... We originally didn't want a guided tour (in the morning), but they didn't want to let us in! This back and forth, changing our travel plans so as not to lose valuable time, the taxi costs to get there on time, all of that was really frustrating and could have gone much better! It says online that the guided tour has to be booked, but not that a simple visit without an appointment is not possible! The same applies to the Sagrada Familia! We were there in the morning before we went to the park and had to leave because a simple visit is not possible! A three-day pass is simply too short if you are required to take guided tours!
