Those looking for the most popular destinations may opt for the Amalfi Drive route, those who prefer quiet roads can choose the tour of Agerola, but this other option we offer has a bit of both: starting from Amalfi, we reach the famed town of Ravello, after a few steep km of climbing.
Definitely not an easy ride for anyone, but if you choose pedal assisted e-bikes you will barely feel the incline!
After Ravello, there's still a long climb on one of the quietest roads in this area, and once at the top you are rewarded with a view well worth your while.
We descend on a different road towards Maiori, to close a loop with a short stretch on the coast (which may get quite busy at times, so basic cycling skills are still a must).

We five novice bikers wanted to experience the natural beauty of the Amalfi Coast away from the crowds. Daniele’s tour exceeded all of our expectations! Setting off from Amalfi we toured the incredibly beautiful town of Ravello (Villa Cimbrone is a must see), then continued on to the little hamlet of Scala before stopping for a delicious lunch in Chiunzi. After lunch, we descended on quiet roads to Minori with a stop at the sea before returning to Amalfi. A true highlight of our week in Positano!

Our group of 5 (all 55+ y.o.) had a great 4 hour 40km e-bike guided tour of Chiunzi Pass loop with Paolo that included traveling up the mountain from Amalfi to Ravello and then back down through back roads to coastal towns of Maiori and Minori and back to Amalfi. Paolo grew up in the are and was good at imparting his knowledge on the tour. The e-bikes were high quality and we could work as hard or as little as we wanted. Trip highlights included visiting Ravello and coming across a goat herder with his herding dog and dozens of goats on a mountain road. While you will experience car and bus traffic during the trip, we never felt unsafe. For those with a little bit of adventure in them and a basic comfort on a bike in the street, this trip is a great way to get away from the crowds and see the Amalfi coast in a way most visitors never experience. Also, it was a great value for a 4 hour private guided tour.

Our guide, Paolo was fantastic. I was apprehensive about riding in traffic on the narrow roads, but he guided us masterfully. After busy downtown Amalfi, the traffic was much less of an issue. Beautiful day.

Excellent service and excellent bike. Pick up and drop off was smooth. The bike ride itself was stunning with great views and stops along the way. I started the ride at sunrise to avoid the worst traffic and heat and it paid off…with time for an afternoon swim in the ocean. I highly recommend Daniele and Amalfi Cycling to anyone who want a quality road bike at a reasonable fee.
