This is a unique hiking experience where we will explore the hidden waterfalls of Santiago! This adventure will immerse you into the natural wonders of Baja on a hike down a canyon to a magical waterfall where you can swim, jump, relax, and explore the beautiful wild surroundings! A natural gem hidden from the huge resorts and busy attractions of Los Cabos!
On the way back we stop to enjoy some delicious craft ice cream to refresh our taste buds!
I also offer the option to stop for lunch at a delicious and authentic Mexican family restaurant which I really recommend!
Important Notes:
*The total time of the trip is 7 hours approximately, including transportation time (1 - 1.5 hours each way depending on your hotels location). It is a bit of a far drive but you get to see the countryside of Los Cabos on a very beautiful ride along the way!
*Please bring some comfy shoes for the hike and your swimsuits.

Our guide Carlos made this trip a great and wonderful experience for our family and guest. He provided great information on our drive out of all the different landmarks and sites to see. Once at the waterfall, he provided excellent safety all the way down into the waterfall. At the waterfall he guided our grandson and his friend up the rocks to some great jumping points. This trip is at your pace. Carlos made it very flexible.

Max was a fantastic guide! He picked us up on time and was great with communication. He books private tours, so he allowed us to customize our waterfall hike experience and was so patient and safety conscious helping our teenagers jump from the rocks/cliff! The local ice cream stop was also delicious! Highly recommend Max and this excursion!!!.

We went and hiked to some beautiful waterfalls and pools with Carlos. Carlos was excellent! Very attentive, informative, funny and accommodating. He made the trip so easy and fun. He has a real passion for the area and it shows. I would recommend Carlos to anyone looking to explore the area.
Lunch in Mira Flores is a must as well, the restaurant is amazing. The dragonfruit margarita is to die for

Highly recommend this beautiful adventure with Good Trips Baja! Carlos was an incredible guide who shared a wealth of information about each area that we visited. He was patient, kind and helpful especially to our 10 year old daughter who needed some encouragement to climb some of the river rocks. Carlos tailored the trip to fit the ability of our family and we felt extremely safe with him as our guide. It was so essential to get out of the busy Cabo area and see the beauty of the Mexican country side where the oasis meets the desert. Carlos was excellent. He advised we shop for snacks/gatorade once we got in the car and use the bathroom at the mega mall. We found snacks and fended off sales pitches from the market people. He gave us the chance to select between a couple of options for the day as he thought the waterfall was going to be crowded. We decided to still go on the waterfall hike because the other option was Hot Springs which I knew we were going to smell lightly of sulfur and my son strongly dislikes that. Carlos said it was going to be hot on the hike, but we had a breeze luckily. He took us down remote dirt roads to the waterfall hike, which was short, but definitely glad we had our hiking shoes. Again, Carlos gave us the option of a couple of different places along the river, which were less crowded, and we opted for one of those with a bit more hiking, which was awesome. We changed into water shoes and waded and floated in the cold ish water. Such an amazing place. After the return hike he took us to view an oasis and the Tropic of Cancer (with delicious ice cream)! We had the option to do lunch. But it would have been to close to dinner, by that time. The snacks we bought at the mega mart were tasty enough. So we returned to the hotel. Carlos was easy and really on top of everything.

Carlos was a great guide. It didn’t take much encouragement to get him to dive into the waterfall pool. We got to have several other pools upstream all to ourselves.

Carlos was a great guide! He is friendly and full of adventure. He tailored the day for us and we finished it off with amazing food at Los Agaves! I would recommend this tour for anyone who would like to get away and explore the beauty of the area beyond the resorts. Muy Bueno!
