We were picked up from our camp on time and driven through the desert to the stargazing camp. We were then given a talk on the planets which was easy to understand and lots of fun. We then went outside to see the beautiful night sky and told lots of interesting information on what we were looking at , we then used the telescopes and that was mind blowing. This was a truly unique experience and fascinating if you are into astronomy or1 st time stargazers like us.

We had a fab night looking at the night sky. Both astronomers were great and really fun. We had 3 generations amongst our family and all of us really enjoyed learning about the stars. It was the first time all of us had looked through a telescope and everything was clearly explained beforehand by Fahkri. We saw galaxies and stars 🤩 I highly recommend this experience!

Fantastic! The event is in 3 sections. There is a 15 minute video introduction with Fahri ( apologies If I have spelled that wrong) who is a very entertaining and informative speaker. The video is very accessible but still interesting if you are more knowledgeable.
This is followed by an introduction to the night sky with one of the young team members who has a powerful laser pointer to identify stars and constellations. Our guide was great fun: she was very sparky, witty and well informed. I now understand how the Zodiac is arranged!
We were then back with Fahri to look through the telescopes at four objects in the night sky - on the night we were there we saw a binary star, a globular cluster and two distant galaxies. Fahri was entertaining and astonishingly knowledgeable. His stellar photographs are mind blowing.

We were fortunate in that there were only 10 in our group, and it may be different if it was more crowded but for me this definitely five stars ( or 200 billion if you count all the nearby ones…)

I've always wanted to know more about the night sky and what an opportunity this was to do it in the Wadi Rum desert. From the moment the pre talk started with a 3 minute video showing how large space is I was hooked. We were lucky as a group tour to have 8 of us being educated and entertained as we got to view different stars/space phenomena through 5 telescopes and I learnt so much about the North Star, how the night sky changes and constellations visible in the sky that night.

An excellent experience which is educational and enjoyable. See so much more than you can with the naked eye. Great telescopes to see amazing sights. A must do

Well worth going! We were lucky to have a clear night, and were able to look at 5 different views through telescopes, including Jupiter with 4 of its moons. Initially we had a very interesting information session inside, and then another one outside before viewing through the telescopes.
The only suggestion I'd have is to put a limit on the number of people for each session, as the wait lines to look through the telescopes were a bit long.
