We have taken walking tours before, and this was the best. It was a good mixture of walking, comfortable public transport and eating at a Restaurant. Greg was charming, knew the whole history, and was mindful of everyone's needs in the group. The best part of the tour: you can eat unlimited strudels with a drink—wow! You can't beat that.

The tour guide was very knowledgeable and due to her we saw a far larger area of the city than we would have on our own. We used the Metro and the bus in addition to walking.
Note there is only one Strudel Bakery in Budapest so don't double book unless you really like strudel.

The tour was so informative and fun. Loved the small group size! We got to know the other participants and we all shared great conversation over strudel! I learned sooo much about Budapest’s history, struggle over the years and about the current living climate. Our tour guide Monica was amazing - and such a trooper. It was 95 degrees when we took the tour but she always made an extra effort to find us shady spots to stand while she explained the area.

A very nice tour. Our guide. Balaz (not sure how to spell His name) was very good at explaining and showing us different sites. He was funny and kept things interesting. We had a very nice stop at a strudel shop where we had many strudels to sample and a nice drink. It was a good break in between the different sites. he did his best to keep us in the shade as we are walking in a hot day. We appreciate that. He was very kind to make sure when the tour was over how to get back to where we wanted to go.

This is a great way to see and learn about Budapest. Petra our guide was very knowledgeable and also very personable. I would suggest considering using audio equipment on the tours as you can miss info if you are out of earshot of the guide.
