Asianway Travel is simply the best. We used them for our 14 day Vietnam trip and had the best experience start to finish! We worked with My Linh and she was awesome. From the start communication was excellent. She was available to us before, throughout and after our trip. She was always prompt in returning any communication . She curated a private trip for our family that included Hanoi, Sa Pa, Hoi An and HCMC. The tours that were included were excellent and we had the best guides. They were kind, helpful and informative. The guides and drivers were so prompt which made the entire trip run so smoothly. The hotels and restaurants were fantastic too. I would recommend Asianway travel to anyone. Do not hesitate to use Asianway for your trip

Thank you for Tom who was so knowledgeable about his beautiful country. The biggest impression for this tour was the Hoa Lo Prison and The Temple of Literature and National University. I was very moved and emotional at Hoa Lo Prison seeing all that was displayed there. One can feel what went on there.
I was also looking forward to the famous egg coffee. It was so good that I had 2 cups.
Tom, hands down, was a great tour guide. The best part was how he and Mr. Driver brought us around and made sure we were safe.

The tour was quite good, and encompasses different aspects to give a glimpse into the culture of Northern Vietnam. Out tour guide Tien is passionate about history and culture, and is knowledgeable of many historical facts.
The tour package does require a fair bit of walking, so comfortable shoes are a must.

Enjoyed every one and will be trying the egg coffee back home.

Tom was a fabulous guide. His English is great and he added stories of his childhood which added a lot to our understanding of Vietnam. We saw the Temple of Literature, Tran Quoc pagoda, Hoa Lo prison and had the original egg coffee. At each site, Tom made sure we understood the history and meaning of each site. We had a wonderful time! Thanks, Tom!

This tour was frustrating because the guide, Hero, was totally distracted the entire time. He was organizing two other tour groups on his phone the whole day and I felt like I was a second (third?) thought for the most part. He did get us into a VIP entrance at Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum, which was a huge win and probably saved 45 minutes and I really appreciated that. And Hero took me to the place where Obama ate Bun Cha, which was delicious. I'm glad I visited the "Hanoi Hilton," but I was totally on my own as he was on the phone the whole time. Instead of going to the downed B-52, he wanted to go to the army museum, which turned out to mostly be closed for renovation. And the visit to the lake area was just one temple (which was definitely worth the visit). So, overall a mixed bag, but it probably would have been better with a more attentive guide.
(Note: I was handed a review sheet at the end of the tour to fill out on the spot and return to the guide. Obviously, I was not going to say anything negative - this is a dumb practice on the tour operator's part and is not going to earn them honest feedback).
