This was one of the best tours I’ve ever taken.
Driving to Hana is not easy with all the winding roads but Salesi our driver/guide made it very safe.
Salesi was very friendly,informative and made everyone laugh throughout the trip.
Highly recommended.

This tour, guided by Salesi, was terrific. He is knowledgeable and kind, with history and stories entertaining us the whole ride. He made many stops so we could enjoy our trip on the Road to Hana. The blank sand beach, the many waterfalls, and the incredible vegetation made it extra special. Salesi had a big surprise at the end, showing us tens of turtles resting on a beautiful beach. He has excellent driving skills and made this risky drive safe for all of us. Overall, it was a fantastic experience, and I highly recommend it.

I based my rating on the tour company and the guide. The tour company was Poly Ad, and our driver was Salesi. After watching numerous videos and reading many positive reviews about the Road to Hana, I booked this tour with Poly Ad and was very excited. Unfortunately, our driver ruined the entire day. He said he doesn't stop at the popular spots, only at what he considers the best ones. However, his "best" stops were the worst ones. He didn't stop at most of the popular spots, giving us only 20 minutes at one waterfall for swimming and 35 minutes at the black sand beach. The rest of the tour was spent viewing sights from the bus window. I do not recommend this company or this driver. It's not worth the $250 per person. Rent a car and enjoy your day instead.

Salesi was a wonderful tour guide! Wonderful talk stories and makes you feel part of his ohana! I was nervous about all the turns, but he made it so enjoyable and I did not feel sick once. HIGHLY recommend!!!

The Road to Hana is the most beautiful journey I’ve ever been on! It’s a long day, but an incredible experience I’m glad I had. The stop for lunch is tasty and beautiful. Salesi is one of the most down to earth, genuine, funny, kind, inspiring, and humble people I have met in my life. He made the Road to Hana unforgettable. Highly recommend!!

Great views through the roadtrip. Best part was the black sand beach. The road is narrow, long, and unfamiliar as a tourist, so it is worth taking a tour for that reason alone (our driver was Sale)
