Take a dive and immerse yourself in the enigmatic waters of an ancient Mayan cenote in the company of an expert who will guide you through impressive caverns so you can closely explore its stalactites and stalagmites. Continue your adventure diving through the incredible Yalku Lagoon, famous for its great variety of tropical fish.
Millions of years ago, much of the Yucatan Peninsula was covered by seawater. As the levels of the oceans decreased in the Ice Age, the water receded until the peninsula we know today is discovered. This great movement of water produced massive erosion and the creation of numerous systems of caves and sinks connected to the sea.
If you know where to look, today you can find bodies of seawater hidden inside the land of the Yucatan Peninsula on the outskirts of Cancun, these are the famous cenotes.

The experience was quite spectacular and our guide was great. The only drawback and reason for the missing star is that the first site is at Cenote Nohoch Nah Chich, 80 miles south of the center of the Cancun hotel zone. This made for a very long bus ride, the last 15 minutes on an almost impassable jeep trail.

Our driver and guide were so friendly and helpful. It was a pleasure to spend the day with them. The cenote was wonderful and the lagoon was so beautiful...like something out of a fairy tale. We loved snorkeling with the fish and exploring the lagoon. Highly recommend this tour.
