Did you know that Colombia's national sport involves throwing a heavy disc to a course full of clay and explosives, while drinking beer? Well this sport is called tejo.
The guide will be waiting for you at a traditional tejo place where you'll learn about the history of this game, the rules and how to play it. You'll play tejo for about an hour, while drinking unlimited local beer, because in this sport the more you drink the better you'll perform.
After the tejo game you'll head to a local craft beer pub where we'll talk about beer, each one of the ingredients and the beer making process. Here you'll have a tasting of the different style of beers produced at this local craft brewery and then have a glass of your favorite one.
Enjoy a game of Tejo at a traditional tejo course followed by a visit to a craft beer pub, learning about our national sport and the local beer industry.

Tejo!! Fantastic experience with Lina. We love her enthusiasm, knowledge and her fun spirit. This was our first ever Tejo experience and we loved the entire evening. Tejo is a must-do in Bogota. I recommend you avoid the newer Tejo places which are springing up in Bogotá’s fancier neighborhoods. Lina takes you to an old-school Tejo and billiards bar. It’s the real deal, no tourists and it’s super fun. Highly recommend.

This was such a fun experience! Tejo is Columbia’s national sport and it was great to get to play it and also drink and learn about the local craft beer scene. If you want a different and truly authentic experience, definitely make this a part of your Bogota itinerary.

This was a great day trip around Bogota. We were picked up and brought to a local Tejo bar. The 3 of us played tejo for about an hour and a half, which was amazing. The staff were really nice and we had a couple of beers during our rounds. Very glad I got to experience this. Afterwards, we went to a local craft brewery and sampled a few beers and hung out. Our guide was great and answered the many questions we had about Bogota. I would recommend anyone who visits Colombia play tejo and glad we got to do it with a local who taught us the ropes. Highly recommend!

I had such an awesome time with playing Tejo and doing the craft beer tour with Lina. She was very nice and knowledgeable and passionate about Tejo and Beer. It was just me on the tour but Lina was an amazing tour guide and highly recommended if you’re in Bogota! :)

Lina was such a kind and gracious guide. She introduced me to to tejo and made me feel welcome at a local bar. She’s very knowledgeable about beer and tejo. I learned a lot from her and also received excellent restaurant recommendations in Bogota.

If you want to try something authentically columbian and different - whether with friends, family or solo - I highly recommend this tour! Tejo was a lot of fun and we were happy to also learn the history behind it. Lina is very passionate and knowledgeable about craft beers, so it was a great way to end the evening. I was looking forward to trying Colombia's national sport, but it's hard to play alone. We spent about an hour playing and having a few drinks, then grabbed an empanada and went to try so local craft beers. Lina was fun, kind and personable. I'd recommend to try any of her tours.
