I was surprised that we saw so many monuments. Our tour guide Joe was great. The bikes come with a small pouch and a holder for a water bottle.

The tour guide, James. Was excellent. He was very informative, friendly and organized. The tour plan was perfect as well. Price to value was very good but you should know that under 16 years old, children cannot ride the electric bikes in this city. This caused me to have to switch 2 of us to regular bikes at the last minute and we did not get any reimbursement for the difference. The ride is easy for any regular bike rider.

David was a great tour guide. He was very knowledgeable and was able to answer ever question that was thrown at him intelligently.
My only critique is that I would like to see him wait by a stop sign until everyone has gone across. When riding with smaller children it may be hard for cars to see them especially at night.
I would still recommend this tour to friends…

I really enjoyed this tour a lot, particularly when the sun set. The view of some of the monuments in the evening was just beautiful. The guide was also very knowledgeable about the monuments and as a history buff I really appreciated this. I would say that as the route is quite flat, it is a relatively easy route to complete on a normal bike if you are of average fitness.

As a frequent—if reluctant—visitor to D.C. from neighboring Maryland, I dreaded our out-of-town guests' request to tour the Capitol. But being fit and accompanied by teenagers, a bike tour seemed like the perfect solution to an unhappy problem. Full disclosure: I've taken kids to the Tidal Basin in the past, and between gridlocked streets, inadequate and expensive parking, and D.C.'s sprawling layout, it's a four season cluster eff. In deference to June's 98º temperatures and 80º humidity, we booked the evening tour and—as expected—were blessed with much more manageable evening temperatures. We rented ebikes, but the terrain has few climbs and we would have been fine with traditional bikes. The equipment was well maintained, and the staff was friendly and competent. Kudos to our tour guide (a young man whose name I don't recall) who's calm and assured leadership kept us together and moving. He had many good notes on the various monuments, and was a delightful guide throughout. Glad we rode.

Such a perfect tour. We had a child and they gave us a tag-a-long bike to use. It worked out so well. Our guide was knowledgeable and great!

This was a great way to take in the national mall, however our group size was too large. 1 guide with a group of 15 made it so that those of us who were toward the back were barely able to safely cross through intersections to stay with the group, sometimes crossing after the light was red. Also, we rarely heard the information the guide shared as only those at the front of the pack were in earshot. The description states you’ll be provided with water, snacks, and a reflective vest. We didn’t get any of those. I wouldn’t book with this company again.

It was great to see the DC highlights when it is less crowded. Traveling by bike between the monuments was quick and easy. Ride was not at all strenuous. Anyone can do it.

This was the perfect way to see the sites on the National Mall. We were able to see and enjoy so much more than walking. Plus, we got painless exercise. Our tour guide, David, was fabulous: knowledgeable and engaging.
