It all starts with a warm cup of tea or coffee before jumping right into the crafting of your own Buttery Croissant, Pain au Chocolat (or chocolate croissant) and the Pain au Raisin ! Small groups of 8 allow the chef to follow closely how you learn new skills and knowledge.

First, discover the equipment, the ingredients, and the theory behind the making of the croissant. You will be making it from scratch with quality ingredients we selected from our local producers.

Then kneading the predough is where it all begins. You will provide the last ingredient with the rolling pin as you roll out the finished dough from which you will shape your own pastries! Time will do the rest while they rest and bake.

It all ends well with the tasting of what you have baked and the always instructive chat about your trip to Paris. We, as chefs, are very happy to give you our culinary advice, recommendations, and opinions and also learn from you. Don’t forget to take away the leftovers!

My 10 year old daughter and I had a great time. We learned a lot and laughed a lot and made a few friends in our class. Was just the right length to keep her attention.

Our pastry chef, Alyssa, was a wonderful host and instructor. She walked us through the many layers of croissant-making….all 12 of them! The steps are well-planned and timed to ensure an optimum experience. While younger chefs could assist with some aspects, I would recommend this for children 10+ for working mostly independently. My daughter said these were the best croissants she has ever tasted, and we have an amazing memory from our time in Paris.

lovely class! I did this with my 12 year old son and it was the perfect amount of time. We had Sarah as our chef instructor and she was so engaged and kind and patient. I loved the small group format, it felt like baking together at home! We made croissants and pain au chocolat from dough and then learned how to make new dough with butter layered in. I received the recipe by email almost immediately after the class. We each went home with 4 pastries!

During a month long visit to France, these were the best pastries of my entire trip! The class was fun and informative and I liked that there wasn’t a ton of down time because it meant we were getting a full experience instead of just
Sitting around.

Also, I loved that they gave us a recommendation of places to shop and eat while in Paris!

This was really a fun day to make chocolate croissants especially when it was a little sprinkling out side. Like they say it's a good day to bake when it's a little rainy day!

Our instructor Delphine was incredible! She was very interactive with the class and got to know each person. She was relatable and conveyed knowledge to the class that we could take back home and use.
