I hoped this paddle wouldn't be too strenuous and it wasn't. It was a lovely way to get out into nature to escape from Las Vegas. The canyon makes for a lovely paddle, and the water was super clear and refreshing and beautiful. Had a lovely time!

It was beautiful! We had strong winds on the way back, but our guides Burton and Sal took good care of us and helped. We were also impressed with how passionate the guides were about the river.

We had such a fantastic time! All of the tour guides were so helpful as they checked us in and helped us adjust our kayaks for the trip. Burton led our group and he was incredible! So kind, helpful, and led us on a journey through the ecology and history of the area. We appreciated all of the information he shared and it is exactly the kind of excursion that my family loves! Adventure, education, and a whole lot of fun! We hit the jackpot on tour guides :) We were concerned about the heat, it was 116 degrees F (air temperature). But with the cool water, the water guns provided with the kayaks, and the supply of water and snacks from the tour guide, we were very comfortable on the water during the entire trip. I would recommend bringing extra water/snacks, sunscreen, and a cooling towel that you can rewet frequently in the water. We traveled with two kids 7 & 11 years old and 4 adults and everyone had a blast! Definitely a must do activity!

This excursion was worth it.
Ray, our driver/guide was nice and knowledgeable. He picked us up on time and the drive from the strip to Willow Beach was about an hour. We quickly got our gear and got in the water. Once we got adjusted Ray made sure we kept together and those who needed help, got it. It was around 110 out, so the cool water was just what we needed. The scenery was amazing and Ray made sure to point out points of intetest. The emerald cave was the highlight of the paddle, be sure to have your camera ready.
I would book another excursion with them the next time im in the area.

My tour guide Burton was the best I’ve ever had on an excursion experience! He was funny, intelligent, attentive, and very kind to all in the group. He shared so much information about the land surrounding the river, history of artifacts, and animals on the river, as well as, facts about how we can do our best to preserve the river. Burton made the experience one of a kind!

Faith, You were amazing!! Thank you for dealing with me lagging behind- but the beautiful scenery was just sooo astonishing!! Too cool that we got to see several Big Horn Sheep, and lucky enough to make friends with a few ducks while we stopped on the beach. Emerald Cove was beautiful. Faith was an amazing guide and I'm back home in Austin, reliving the experience through photos and memories... Epic experience to say the least! These memories will stay with me for the rest of my lifetime. 💚💦
