With its enormous, ancient icebergs, the Jökulsárlón Glacial Lagoon is a natural wonder of Iceland and a sight you absolutely cannot miss. The lagoon produces a feeling of incredible tranquility as the 1000-1500 year old ice that has broken away from Vatnajökull glacier silently drifts into the lake and slowly melts away. The lagoon covers 18 square kilometres (7 square miles) and reaches more than 248 metres (814 ft) at its deepest point. As you take a walk along the shore, you may recognize the lagoon from scenes out of famous movies such as Batman Begins, Tomb Raider and two James Bond movies that were filmed here.

An completely fantastic experience. Lucked into perfect weather but more importantly, our guide, Flosi, and driver, Gudjon were terrific, kind, and so knowledgeable. I learned SO MUCH, the views were amazing , the food stops delicious (ate arctic char and seafood soup), and I am so excited to tell everyone back home to take this tour!!!

Fantastic tour with our guide and driver Albert. He was well informed, kept us on time, and even was able to sneak in a few extra scenic stops for quick photo opportunities. He made the day truly a delight and we never felt rushed despite a full day schedule

Awesome opportunity and experience to see and visit both the Black Diamond Beach and Glacial Lagoon. Both were extremely unique in terms of the landscape and are most definitely worth the hype!

The tour is very complete with great moments like the boat trip to Jokulsarlon Lagoon around the icebergs.
Albert our guide is excellent. He conveyed to us with all his explanations and his kindness, the love he has for his country.

If I thought Iceland was beautiful before- I was totally blown away by the Glacial Lagoon. Our Driver/Guide Eric was fabulous, very knowledgeable and helpful.
