The guides are lovely very knowledgeable
Be aware they can not tell you you will see northern lights but they will try to help

The transfers to and from go easily be on time for the pick ups as that causes them to be late waiting around
Wrap up warm as the light means waiting around in cold and wind and it gets cold

The Northern Lights part of this tour was amazing. There were 500 of us on this tour! Yes, 500 people. It took multiple buses to get us all out to the site. The guide talked way too much and seemed disorganized. The minute we stepped off the bus, the Northern Lights put on a show. They were fabulous for over 90 minutes! It was breathtaking. Lots of tours had success that night finding the lights. The problem I have with this dual tour is the lack of communication. The Blue Lagoon was closed due to the volcano. I understand that. What I do not understand is why we have to beg for a refund and write multiple messages to get help. The tour was canceled at the last minute, so there was not a chance to get a new tour. Then, the company sent a message saying that we are entitled to a refund, but they have not given it to us. Nor have they answered any messages. I would not use this company again. They won't even tell us how much of a refund we should have?!?

Tour cancelled by provider due to seismic activity in the area, but I won't receive a full refund. No logical explanation given.

The trip was easy to book through TripAdvisor and was confirmed well with good communication with the excursion company. Travel to and from the Blue Lagoon was warm and comfortable. The time was soooo good at the Blue Lagoon, made to feel welcome with amazing facilities that are clean and spacious. The face masks and drink were great there. Is an amazing place for sure, so glad we went there.
The evening trip to hunt for Northern lights was well organised and information was free flowing through the guide. We didn't see any Northern Lights but was always a chance. The knowledge they gave us though helped us see some the next night from Reykjavik bay so we finished off our holiday on a high.

Impeccable service from Reykjavik Excursions! I visited Iceland with my elderly grandparents in May and the tours were top-notch, allowing my less mobile grandparents to enjoy all the main sights in Reykjavik. Everything was really well organised, the tour guide was able to speak several languages to accommodate all her guests and was very knowledgeable. We had a great time.

Beyond this though, I would like to thank Dragana, Anete, Trisha and more of the front desk team who were able to help when my grandfather lost his phone on one of the transfers. Over two months later, when the phone was found under the seat fabric, they reached out to us and were happy to painlessly ship the phone to me. Their honesty, integrity and helpfulness go beyond any sense of duty and I’m really grateful.

My family and I visited Iceland for a week recently. A truly wonderful trip - Iceland is one of the most scenic countries in the world - with unreal landscapes. A highlight was a visit to the justly famous Blue Lagoon. Yes, lots of people, but a wonderfully relaxing experience nonetheless. The best advice that I can give is to go if you possibly can. We were a family of five, including a 6-year-old. He loved the trip as well, so something for everyone.

Both elements of this trip were really well organised and we had a wonderful time at the Blue Lagoon. We were also so lucky to see incredible Aurora Borealis.
So pleased with this trip.

Excellent service from this company. Sadly, our Northern Lights tour was cancelled twice, however communication was excellent and we had a part refund.

The only thing worth noting is that Reykjavik isn’t as big as I thought, so whilst we were requesting to be picked up from bus stops around the city, we could have just walked to the terminal.

For example, if you book a trip from Bus Stop 8, you’ll be picked up anytime within a half hour time slot. This smaller bus will take you to the terminal. At the terminal you change to a bigger bus, leaving from departures.

The terminal is warmer than standing at a bus stop.
