With the summer months we should of went to the coliseum first not last. Should of taken us to city center for lunch instead of one real choice for a meal by Vatican. Also going over every picture in the vatican
brochure is a waste of time. We can read the title of the painting. Other than that our guide moved things along. She was efficient with the schedule she was given

We booked the ROME IN A DAY TOUR with Raffa as our guide. The 7 hour tour allowed us to see our big ticket items we were really wanting to see in Rome all in the same day. Yes, it involved a lot of walking, but it wasn't an unreasonable amount. There were fifteen people in our group ranging in age from young 20s to around 60. Raffa was knowledgeable, interesting, and made the tour fun and lively. Because she is a local, she knows the sites and was able to provide in-depth knowledge and interesting facts that we would have otherwise missed. She allowed us just the right balance of time with each site we visited - not too long and not too short. She was friendly, personable, and genuinely seemed to enjoy sharing her wealth of knowledge. I highly recommend booking the ROME IN A DAY TOUR!

It was an excellent tour with a wonderful tour guide who was very knowledgeable about all the historical significance including details about the multitude of artists and Roman leaders/emperors who commissioned them. The trip was long and we walked about 5 miles but saw virtually all of the Roman historical places with detailed guide through the Vatican, Sistine Chapel, and St. Peter's Basilica. Our guide even had to deal with an annoying family that made the reservations even though it clearly said the tour was not for people in Wheelchairs due to accessibility issues and required walking. They threatened to sue the tour company (Roman Guy Tours) under ADA act (which doesn't even apply in Italy) multiple times. The guide was very considerate and did not make a stink about things and was accommodating to the disabled family even asking guards if we could borrow a chair for disabled person to rest in. Fortunately, the annoying family gave up after the Sistine Chapel and we never saw them again!

Our Tour guide was excellent. She was very thorough when explaining all the different sites, very patient and professional as we did have some demanding and interesting people on our tour. This tour is not designed to shop as you tour, as some people on the tour expected, please read what the tours description is and book accordingly. I would recommend this tour, just make sure you are prepared to do a lot of walking.

My wife and I were really looking forward to this tour and it was great! Our tour guides name was Maria, and she was awesome. She was so incredibly knowledgeable and funny which made the tour that much better. You could tell she enjoyed being able to bring the history of Rome to people on the tour. If you have somewhat limited time during your stay in Rome, I definitely recommend this tour!

Maria Elisa is amazing! She is passionate about what she does and makes sure everyone is doing well. We had 8 people in our group from 15-70 years old and this tour was great for all ages. It is worth every penny! Book this tour for a full day of all the major sites.
