We will be paddling CLEAR tandem (2 seat) kayaks fitted with multi-color LED lighting systems. It is an easy 15 minute paddle out to the beach and main channel where we will search for wildlife. Big Hickory Island is prime habitat for marine life. We'll be on the lookout for shore birds, dolphins, and manatees (warm water months).
We suggest a hat, sunglasses, water shoes, sunscreen, and bottled water. Insect repellent and a long sleeved sport pull-over help control bugs if they're out.
Kayaks have a weight limit of 425 pounds and 250 pounds per seat.
Kayaks are tandems (2 seat). If you book an odd number of persons we can usually accommodate by reconfiguring one to a single. Book what you need and we'll advise you if there are any issues.
Minimum age is 5 years old. We have youth size PFDs.

Nicholas is the best he made my friends feel comfortable in the treacherous waters. We saw many forms of life. He even jumped off his paddle to rescue a drowning raccoon and brought him to shore. A true hero we never knew we needed. This business owner should be so thankful to have employees like him.

Such a cool experience! Our guide, Monique, was super knowledgeable and fun! The clear kayaks with the LED lights made for an awesome effect in the dark and even despite a little surprise rain shower, we had the best time! Would definitely recommend this tour to everyone!

My daughter and I took this tour and it was fantastic! Our guide was very knowledgeable and grew up in the area, we enjoyed all the stories and knowledge! A little bit of everything… kayaking, eco tour, shelling on a private island, a very private and beautiful sunset, even a little spooky return trip through the old stomping ground of pirates!

Our guide Cameron was superb-he was extremely knowledgable about the ecosystem of Florida and passionate about his job and sharing his knowledge.
I highly recommend this company-the tour was beautiful-we stopped at an island and we loved kayaking in the dark with LED lights. We learned so much and now will look at the ecosystem in a different light. A fantastic tour!!

The night kayaking tour was an amazing experience! Our tour guide Mike was very informative and helped us whenever we needed it. I would really recommend this to any family. It was such an easy paddle and the views were amazing! Or as my kids said “it was lit!”

We had great time at sunset moment with glow the lights kayak with Cameron! He’s awesome young man who was our guide tourist, very patient with us as he’s aware that we are deaf. We had a great sunset Kajak tour with our great tourguide Cameron.
During the tour he gave us a lot of information about all the wild life. He really did his best to find interesting wildlife and made sure we had a save and interesting trip!
