We had a fantastic time biking around the old city and along the beach with our guide, Lounis. He was so passionate about his love of history and Barcelona and was extremely patient and helpful with reccomendations. I would give him 10 stars if possible. Using a local guide and going private might cost a little more than having one of those big company tours but I can't say enough how much it's worth it because it's completely personalized to what you want to do and at your pace - it's the difference between coach and first class on an airplane, basically - you may see the same sights but your journey is so much more enriching (and to be clear this was not nearly as expensive a difference, just a little more money we'll spent). This was my 1st time using withlocals and I can't reccomend it enough - if you are lucky to find yourself in this fascinating City, book Lounis, you will be amazed!

From the start, Phillipe treated us as old friends. With just two of us, we felt we received a plethora of information and knowledge of what we toured/visited. The time spent was filled with not only the history of Barcelona, but also local tidbits, personal conversations and even recommendations of what to visit/eat during our stay.
Wish we could take Phillipe along with us through the rest of journey!

We booked a last minute family barcelona bike tour with Lounis, which he customized to the needs of our family, which has a big age range. He arranged the rental of bikes at an easy to find location, and off we went! We saw all the main sights of Barcelona, stopped at a market for tasting food, cruised the beach, took pictures at La sagrada familia and even saw some Gaudi. The hours flew by as we cruised around and learned the history of Barcelona. Lounis is easy going and confident, he knows Barcelona and we loved touring the city with him. Our needs were unique and he surpassed our expectations. Thank you for a fantastic day in Barcelona!

Marcel was wonderful. He is extremely knowledge and showed us many hidden gems. We did a 5 hour bike tour and could have continued it was so interesting. We stopped at local market where he treated us to some local bites .
Our only regret is that we didn’t do this on day 1 of our trip . Thank you Marcel for all your great tips and recommendations you made our stay most enjoyable

Elvira is the best guide EVER!! We started our 5-6 hour e-bike tour in l’Eixample where we were staying at H10 Casa Mimosa. Elvira met us there, and we picked up our bikes nearby. We saw many beautiful Gaudi buildings in addition to many other beautiful architectural masterpieces and landmarks, rode all around l’Eixample and throughout the Gothic Quarter where Elvira took us through a labyrinth of streets and landmarks, so cool! We had lunch at a great food market, and ended our tour at La Sagrada Familia where we returned the bikes and where we had previously booked tickets. DO NOT MISS SF, IT IS SPECTACULAR!! Anyway, Elvira is just the best, so kind, so knowledgeable, and I can’t imagine anybody who we would rather spend a day with, she’s amazing! If you have the chance to book with Elvira, do not hesitate, it’ll be an experience you’ll always remember😊!!

Our bike tour led by Lounis provided a comprehensive overview of Barcelona. Lounis showed us highlights of the gothic section, taking us on small local side streets, to the beach as we had requested, and to a scenic overlook of the city. We took the bike tour on our first day in Barcelona and marked all the places we would like to return to. Lounis was friendly, knowledgeable about history and culture, and attentive to what we wanted to see. Highly recommend.

Stay off the tour buses and see Barcelona by bike - the ride was safe and easy, the perfect way to cover a lot of ground while staying cool. Lounis was a cheerful and attentive guide who tailored a perfect afternoon. Biking in Barcelona gives you the best of both worlds - you will cover more ground and have the breeze in your hair. Thoroughly recommended.

Lounis took us on an enjoyable bike tour of the city. Very knowledgeable about the history which made it more interesting and also had an opportunity to bike ride to the beach. Would highly recommend.
