Dilek was an incredible host and was a delightful guide through the city. We tried several Turkish dishes that we had never heard of, and Dilek brought us to venues we would have never found otherwise. This was a perfect last night for our trip to Turkey!

Erol was fantastic! He was on time and extremely helpful with both insights into the food we ate as well as history of the Beyoğlu area of Istanbul. We tried many different types of foods from different areas of Turkey, highlighting the significance of Istanbul in mixing of cultures thru food.

Tolga took us on a three hour food tour on the European side of Istanbul. We stopped at so many places to try one or two small items and we were exposed to foods that we would never have discovered by ourselves. Each stop was so different from the one before and we never felt like we over ate. He shared some of Istanbuls history with us while we walked and while we sat and snacked. We also got to experience authentic Turkish coffee like a local. Tolga was knowledgeable and engaging and shared information in a relaxed and accessible way. We can highly recommend Tolga and we can recommend this walking food tour too as a way to see a different side of Istanbul.

The best and most important thing to do when in Istanbul!
We were a group of 9 friends gathered for a reunion. Tolga our guide was fantastic! This food tour was everyone’s favorite experience and we had a great time. Food was definitely something we wouldn’t have tried on our own. So much variety and adjustments for vegetarian friends. Three cheers for Tolga our food guide! Definitely a must do tour.

Muhammed is wonderful. We enjoyed the food he introduced us to. He talked about historical sites when we were walking to different food places. It was a lovely tour.

My family (husband, 18 year old twins) and I enjoyed a truly fantastic food tour with Emre. He is excellent company with a wealth of knowledge about both Turkish gastronomy and its history. He kindly accommodated our dietary preferences (husband and I don’t eat meat) and kept all of us well fed even though many of his usual spots were shuttered for the holiday. Though our tour commenced at 10:30, we ate so well we elected to skip dinner. Time with Emre was a highlight of our trip to Istanbul; he was kind enough to provide recommendations both before and after our meet up, all of which have proven excellent Highly, highly recommend.

Actually, the tour guide is very nice and helpful, but clearly limited budget and most restaurant were closed. I requested partial refund. Not as expected. I think the spend was around 25% only from what we paid.

What an amazing experience! We were treated to the best adventure ever. Emre is so friendly and gave us wonderful advice and showed us the best places. We would have missed the best of Istanbul if it was not for him! Even after the trip was over he stayed in touch and gave us tips and advice!!!
