This tour offers you an exclusive wine tasting in a Medieval cave dating back to Etruscan period, 600 BC. This place is private and the only one accessible to public. Here you will have one of a kind experience tasting the best wines selection from Sienna's region.
Brunello di Montalcino is also in the list of top 100 best wines in the world by the magazine Wine Spectator.
Our Licensed Tour Guide will give you an introduction about Sienna history and assist you during the tour giving some tips on where to eat and what do in town during your stay.

Our Siena underground wine tasting was a fabulous experience. The history behind the cave at the back of the wine shop was fascinating and the subsequent wine tasting experience was top quality. Frederico was very knowledgeable whilst also being very easygoing, so the session was perfect for us.
There was an issue to start with as the address on the ticket was incorrect but Aviator managed to sort it out and it did not spoil the occasion. A definite 5 stars from us!

Our guide pointed out hidden Siena gems (St. Catherine's home, beaurtiful views of siena, etc.) as she walked us to the location of our private wine tasting in the medieval cave. There, we had a wonderful time as Frederico presented excellent wines, including the Brunello di Montalcino, and the history and background story of how the etruscan crypt was discovered. Highly recommended!

The wine tasting completed a perfect day in Siena. Enjoy exquisite wines in the midst of a miedieval cave amongst amazing hosts. This was an unforgettable experience where we indulged in Italian history, delicacies and warm hospitality. So grateful to Morad for showing us yet another breathtaking experience.

This little wine shop has a huge surprise for guests that makes it a delight for people who are looking for unique experiences in Siena. Worth the trip from Florence. Plus, its underground so you can escape the heat and the wine is bellisimo!!! Don't miss this!!!

This was lots of fun. I surprised my friends with this and we all loved it. We were met by the very lovely lady Angie who gave us a brief tour of the old town and then took us to the wine tasting. Very cool sitting in a medieval cave and tasting some of Italy's lovely wines which was very informative.
