This was an amazing experience. We did it with our 8 and 10 years old and this was the highlight of their time in Rome. I would recommend it.

Super fun for our kids. My 14 yr old who’s too cool for everything actually participated and had a good time. Our trainer didn’t let anyone off the hook and smoked our gladiators when their performance was lacking. The introduction in the museum was informative and everyone in our group got to handle various weapons, shields and helmets. Would recommend for sure. Easy parking too.

We went with our kids 8 & 11, and they had a blast. It was interesting and fun for the parents too, since they also get pulled into the fun. A perfect length, with both activities and historical information. The guide was really good... funny, read the room well, included everyone, provided interesting information. Definitely recommend.

Such a cool, educational experience, especially for children but really great for the whole family. It truly engaged our 9-year-old and sparked his interest in Roman history. Great pre-cursor to the Coliseum!

Helena, I think. Was just simply awesome. Made it so fun for the younger kids but also for the older ones. The battle between Riley and Johnny was the best. Not only fun for the kids but very educational for the adults.

My kids (boy 9, girl 7) had a blast learning all about gladiators and getting to become one themselves. The tour started with a short educational lecture of different kinds of Roman armor. The kiddos got to try it on and take pictures. The host did a great job of including everyone who wanted to be included and making the tour fun. Afterward we went into the training yard and did some drills and learned fighting techniques (which the kids loved). Lastly we went into the arena where you could battle the other students (with soft swords). It was great fun!

It was a full experience! History. Training. Battling! We absolutely loved it and would highly recommend it! Our two boys got to battle each other in the arena - that will be a top highlight of the whole trip!

For any fan of Gladiator, I highly recommend! Our group of 5 guys had an amazing time @ Roman Gladiator school. They couldn’t stop talking about this adventure & had so many fun photos and videos to share! **bring insect repellent** Lots of bug bites, but then again, booking was 5-7p in June. Even so, 5 stars!! So much fun!!

This was my second time at Gladiator School and this time I watched. I went in 2012 with my husband and we had so much fun, so I wanted to go back with friends. They've made lots of good improvements since 2012. It's a fantastic place to learn about Roman military history and tactics. Maximiliano did a wonderful job explaining the various technology the Romans used--totally fascinating and we could take pictures with the equipment. The training and "fighting" was super fun too. Definitely a fantastic activity.
