BEWARE!!!!
If you are looking for a MEDIOCRE, at best, tour operator to provide a fabulous fjords and glacier tour, you should definitely book with Glaciertours AS arranged by Viator. The bus for 16 people does in fact "fit" 16 people. However, if you are one of the unfortunate 2 passengers relegated to the 4-person (I use that term lightly) bench seat at the back and are then joined by 2 additional passengers, it is uncomfortably cozy-wait there is more-if those 2 additional passengers are on the hefty size (to be polite), you are in for many hours of crunch time. So tight you can't even put on your seatbelt, which is required by law.
Good luck if you are expecting some commentary on your 10+ hour tour. Firstly, the microphone didn't work. The two times the driver/tour operator offered 30 seconds of commentary; it could only be heard by the first 2-3 rows pf passengers. One would think that an operator would make sure everything was in working order beforehand. Mind you, this is 10+ hours!
I must add that the boat ride to and from the glacier was great with lots of information along the way provided by the boat captain and crew. Don't expect much in the way of food offerings. I would suggest that you bring your own.
I admonish Viator for not properly vetting the tour company. Perhaps, if they did unannounced trial runs, they would be in a position to provide the kind of service expected of Viator. Theirs is a competitive market with several other reputable tour companies in each port to choose from.
I will say that I have used Viator before on many trips with no complaints.
At $350.00+ pp for a June 2024 excursion, if I could, I would give a minus 1 rating!!

Friendly guides. Beautiful scenery. A little confusion over boat and meals. Glacier was very interesting and museum was well done. Bus tour part was long but nice scenery.

The landscape was beautiful, the tour was entertaining, and, best of all, the guides, Sonny and Magnus were very friendly and informative! I highly recommend this tour!!!

This was a beautiful trip I forgot the guides name, but he was great. He knew a lot about the history in the area and spoke English well so we could understand him well.

This was the highlight of our trip to Norway. Sondre, our guide, and Thomas, our driver, were fabulous. Note that there is a lot of bus time, but it is worth it. The Stave church, glacier, fiords, and small towns all helped to created a rich and full sense of Norway. I was worried seeing a few negative comments from the past, but note that the owners have changed and the new owners work hard to create an exceptional day.

Our guide, Sonny was a very warm, friendly tour guide. He explained everything and answered all our questions. He made the tour an exceptional experience. We went to the glaciers and we were able to put our feet in the water. E we also drank the pure water from the glaciers! Best tour and e highly recommend it thanks to Sonny

The trip is amazing. Awesome views and unique experience to sail over the fjords and see the glacier very close. The tour guy (Sonny) is very nice and was with us explaining everything, along with the rest of the crew (Tom the captain). Be aware that the first boat (from Bergen) is not part of the tour (to be clear, it is included) so you only need to be careful in which stop you need to get off (Balestrand).

La excursión en líneas generales estuvo bastante bien. Los paisajes impresionantes.
Destacar la amabilidad de Tom (conductor del autobús).
No podemos decir lo mismo de Suni, asistente de la tripulación del barco, quién nos discriminó durante todo el recorrido en barco ya que se dedicaba a ofrecer comida y bebida a otros pasajeros, saltándose siempre los asientos en los que nos encontrábamos mi familia y yo, por algún motivo tiene un problema con los españoles. A parte cuando fuimos a comprar comida y bebida nos dijo que nos esperásemos 10 min que tenía cosas que hacer, sin embargo, a su vuelta no nos preocupó en saber que era lo que queríamos.

The trip in general was quite good. The landscapes were amazing.
Highlight the kindness of Tom (bus driver).
We cannot say the same about Suni, assistant to the boat crew, who discriminated us throughout the entire boat trip since he was dedicated to offering food and drink to other passengers, always skipping the seats where my family and I were. For some reason he has a problem with Spanish people. Besides, when we went to order food and drinks he told us to wait 10 minutes because he had things to do, however, upon his return he didn't bother us to know what we wanted.

The tour was great! Tour guides were very friendly! Giving explanations along the way. Nice boat and infrastructure.The glacier is amazing!
Stop at the museum. Beautiful view to take nice pics. I totally recommend this tour :)

This tour was supposed to be the highlight of our trip to Bergen but IT WAS CANCELLED RIGHT BEFORE!! We weren’t able to switch to anything else at the last second. My whole family was so disappointed! And, to top it off, no sign of a refund as yet!! So infuriating!!
