First, very nice man and nice tango teacher. It would have been a great experience except we had transportation issues getting there and then found out it was not actually a private class. It was our last night in Argentina and we chose this particular class because it was listed as private and we wanted the time alone with our adult kids…when we got there we found out there were two other couples. Although they were nice people and Saul was kind…it was not what was advertised. The teacher stayed extra for us since we were late which was very kind…but if you want a private class make sure and speak to the tour operator to verify…because he told me when I got there it was not private but up to 8 people…hence the extra 4 people. It should be listed as a semi-private tour not private! Also, ask for the ingredient list to make sure you like all the ingredients. There are olives in the meat empanadas which I am sure is delicious if you like Olives..my husband does not. We would 100% have loved it as a private class but felt like the advertising was misleading and that I paid for a private class and it was semi-private at best.

Saul is amazing. The food is the best and he makes you feel at home in his kitchen. I did this excursion in 2018 and enjoyed it so much that I did it again in 2024! The tango lesson was so much fun. It was an enjoyable evening of tango, cooking and good conversation. A must do in Buenos Aires.

This class was one of the best cooking classes I have ever taken! Pair that with an amazing tango class before hand and you have something really special. Saul not only shows you how to cook the dishes but also talks through why the steps are important to making the dishes really good. This is such an amazing experience for any level of cook. It is a must do if you are in Buenos Aires

This was such a great experience! I loved everything about Saúl's cooking class. All the recipes were both delicious and easy to follow. He is very accommodating and will critique his lessons based on dietary restrictions. I got to make authentic Argentina empanadas, ribeye steak with potatoes (oh and I can't forget the chimichurri!), and dulce de leche ice cream! I even got a private lesson of Tango with an awesome instructor which was so much fun and really added to the great evening. Saúl was very kind and gave great suggestions for cooking as well as tips for things to do in Argentina. My only advice would be don't eat too much of the appetizers because you're gonna want to save room! Thanks again Saúl!

We had an amazing night with this tango lesson and cooking class. We never danced the tango before but that didn't matter! The intstructor explained us what the dance is really about and she was able to learn us some basics (and let us have so much fun). Same goes for the cooking. Saul matches your cooking level and really explained something about the cooking process. He has the right balance between letting you do your thing and explaining how things should be done. Above all, the food is super tasty. Highly recommended!

Amazing! This evening was the highlight o my visit. More than what I expected! The dance class was perfect - such a relaxed learning environment and skilled teaxher who was very encouraging and able to point out small specific adjustments in a great manner to help me out. The host of the cooking and supper, Saul, is extremely knowledgeable and welcoming. He included us in the preparation and cooking of an amazing meal, and provided excellent explanations o why we were doing things a certain way. The end product was fantastic, with great wine and great company. I highly recommend!

Had a fantastic evening!! The tango lesson was so much fun and the instructor (Elena?) was so patient with us gringos :) Cooking with Saul was so much fun! He encouraged all of us to participate in the making of the great meal we all shared afterwards. It was really nice to spend the time visiting with the other participants and learn of their backgrounds and experiences. Would highly recommend this to anyone spending time in Buenos Aires - and will do it again if we return! Mucho gusto, Saul y muchas gracias!!

We had the best time!!! The tango was well taught and fun and the cooking with Saul was the best. His recipes are excellent and his skill and teaching technique will make a pro out of you. We enjoyed eating the fruits of our labor as well!
Being in Saul’s personal kitchen and space made it even more special like we were friends or part of the family. He made sure we were safely on our way in our taxi or Uber.

We were looking for something unique to do while visiting Buenos Aires and this activity fit the bill! We started our evening off with a private tango lesson. This was really fun and we also learned a little about the history of tango in Argentina. After the tango lesson, we enjoyed some light snacks and then the cooking lesson began. We made homemade empanadas, a chimichurri, a rib roast, potatoes, and dessert. Saul opened a delicious bottle of Argentine wine, and we were able to enjoy our meal together. We left feeling full and happy. It was great getting to meet some locals and share a meal that we helped prepare. I would highly recommend this!
