We'll start in Condesa with a delicious coffee and some pastry from one of our favorite bakery.

Then, we'll hop on our bikes and cruise through the charming Roma neighborhood, stopping along the way to check out some beautiful public spaces and learn more about the history & culture of Mexico City.

No visit to Roma is complete without indulging in some mouth-watering tamales from one of the best spots in town!

After we'll head over to a bustling traditional market to soak up the vibrant atmosphere.

Next up, we'll make our way to Parque Mexico in Condesa to relax and enjoy some more delicious Mexican cuisine.

But we're not done yet! Our adventure continues as we cycle to Chapultepec Park, where we'll take in breathtaking views of the city and explore the impressive castle while learning more about Mexico City

Finally, we'll hit up the most famous churreria in town before returning to Condesa to cap off our day with a refreshing michelada or mezcalita near Mexico Park.

Raul was the best guide we could ask for! Super attentive, knowledgeable, patient and kind. The tour was great since it covered not only tacos, but other Mexican cuisine. Raul also seemed to know everyone, which added to the experience. Would highly recommend this to anyone visiting who would like to see the city.

We had a great time on this tour. The bikes were a fun way to explore the Roma/Condesa Neighborhoods. We were with one other couple and had a good time in the small group. The food was all really good, hole-in-the-wall or street-style local spots, which was exactly what we were looking for. Our tour guide was a local (although from a different area) and knew quite a bit about the culture of modern-day Mexico. We particularly enjoyed the bike ride around the park towards the end, although we wish we could have gone to the castle on the hill. Less time could have been spent talking about the earthquake system and in the peaceful nap areas of the parks, but overall we had a great time and it was a nice way to be introduced to Mexico City.

Raul was great. He is a Mexican City native that was culturally knowledgable of Mexico’s City’s history, language, food, arts, and down to earth vibe the city represents.
He will take you to 4-5 different spots around the city to observe, eat, drink, and enjoy the bike ride to a few of the city’s neighborhoods.

He provided the experience of living in Mexico City and he did an amazing job.

I highly recommend going on a bike tour with Raul!

Hands down one of our favorite activities we did in Mexico City! We lucked out by booking the "Mexico is More Than Tacos" tour on a Sunday when they shut down the Paseo de la Reforma until mid-afternoon to allow for bike & foot traffic only & the whole city seemed to be out for all the fun festivities - yoga, dancing, parade, food, etc! It was awesome!

Now, my husband & I had not been on a bike in 10+ years &, despite being a little nervous ahead of time, we had no issue with the 8 mile tour. The majority of the ride was on flat-paved tree-lined streets & there are lots of stops along the way. It was the BEST way to see the different neighborhoods & several key highlights of the city. Our guide, Mario, was absolutely fantastic - super personable & informative! Highly recommend requesting him.

If you are trying to decide which tour group to go with let me assure you why this is the best one (aside from the fact that we had a great time!) ...there were lots of similar groups out at the same time as us, however, the were huge - anywhere from 10-20 bikers. We were a group of 4 with Mario. Food Hood keeps their tours small & intimate making it easier to navigate the city & interact with your tour guide & each other.

Lastly, we were absolutely STUFFED by the end of the tour so definitely arrive hungry. Also, be prepared for the best Michelada of your life. Cheers!

Fantastic tour. Raúl was a great guide, full of interesting information about Mexico city, answered a ton of questions, and was clearly passionate about sharing his love for his city.

All the food we tried was incredible and really plentiful - it took care of breakfast and lunch over the almost 6 hours - with multiple options to accommodate everyone's preferences.

Overall great value for money and a perfect introduction to CDMX.

I've done the tour for the second time now, it was different from the last and just as great and professionally guided with lots of information about the country and its people.
The selection of places to eat was amazing and authentically delicious. I would do it again anytime, it wasn't strenuous and just great and relaxed.
