We took our kids and grandkids to the Diamond Head Luau, and we all loved it! There were 10 of us ages 11 to 72. We did the standard buffet, and the food was delicious! The entertainment was superb, and the scenery was gorgeous! Our grandchildren loved being able to make flower bracelets and woven palm headbands. They also loved having their pictures taken with all the dancers afterwards. We highly recommend this Diamond Head Luau!

Many of the entertainers are family & you can see their pride of culture. The food was delicious, the hospitality fantastic & show was entertaining.

Very entertaining show, but don’t have high expectations of the aquarium unfortunately. Show was great fun. We went vip package so didn’t have to queue to get the buffet, they loaded our plates and delivered to the tables. Food and service were great but would probably have preferred to have picked our own food as seemed quite a lot of waste on people’s plates. Drink options not vast but adequate. All in all, we had a great time

The show was decent but didn’t have many dancers. It was educational, especially about coconuts & their history/uses in Polynesian culture.
The food was good, but mostly for adult palates (likes of cream sauces on most things). It really needed some kid-friendly options because my teen was left hungry (& therefore grumpy because of low blood sugar, as we expected at least some options that kids/teens would like).
We got tickets to the aquarium but didn’t end up using them becasue we decided to explore more of the island and less of the indoor/Waikiki activities.. so that added “bonus” didn’t really end up being a bonus for us.

Raining on and off. Was all outside. Show was not amazing at all. After we went we heard PCC was the best. Wasn't worth 650 for 4 people. Food was good.

The young Hawaiian performers were amazing from start to finish. They were so kind making leis, weaving headbands and painting tattoos. Their energy and talent on stage was unbelievable and very professional. The production, script, choreography and costumes were top notch! The food was amazing, the staff helpful and I had a blast dancing the hula. This was my first time in Hawaii and this luau was everything I dreamed it would be.

The dancing was good the guys though seemed to be quite tired. The food I honestly thought was ehhh. We got the vip package and was disappointed said it was a buffet as we were seated they sat a plate in front if us. Didn't know what anything was and it was cold was not impressed everything was just piled on top of everything couldn't tell what was supposed to be what.
The setup was OK stage was really small and the fence blocking the way to the beach had plastic over so the view was blocked which again was kind of disappointing.
Not really sure I would recommend the vip I'd rather walk though the buffet and tables were all right there didn't find the experience was worth the vip price.

The luau was so much fun! They had an amazing selection of food. The performers were very fun to watch. I would definitely recommend going to this luau and would do it again!

Interesting reading the negative reviews because we really enjoyed it. yes, it is an expensive evening but the price is comparable to most luaus on Hawaii - you will certainly find some that are less costly and some that are more costly.
We bought the standard package and had no complaints. Didn’t mind paying $8 for another cocktail, they were good and that’s half the price in any Wakiki bar. I loved making a headband nd a flower bracelet befor the show, The dancers and costumes were great, loved the love music, and an opportunity to go up on stage for a hula lesson. Some of the performers were entertaining and quite funny and the fire show at the end was a big hit.
I have no problem recommending this luau. We had piety to eat, and there was a call to go up for seconds if you wanted to.
I wish I could respond to the negative moments but if they had a bad time, I’m sorry for that, but we had a blast. I do agree is not on the beach, but if you look at their publicity photos you will see the stage is not facing the beach.
