This is actually a combination of two different attractions here in Zanzibar whereby travelers may experience both in the same day to save time. The Tour may start with either of two attractions depending on the tide. At Uzi island we shall do kayak for about two hours with help of our local guide and at Kuza Cave we shall enjoy swimming in the natural swimming pool and the local music. A pure local aquatic experience.

We wanted to experience a little more of Zanzibar than the resort and this turned out to be a great family adventure. Our ride arrived on time and then we were off to Kuza Cave. After a short informational session, you get to swim in the water, which is a lovely experience. After, you hang out and some people play music and sing. Very enjoyable.
We then made our way to Uzi Island, which was accessible by road go us since it was low tide. We met with an Uzi Islander guide who discussed the mangroves, and environmental conservation among other things as we waited for the tide to roll in. Once it did, we got into the kayaks and went through the mangroves! Stunning. And we were the only ones out there. About half way through, we stopped at a small island and enjoyed some delicious, fresh, local fruit, and then we went back to the "road" which was now flooded by the tide.
We loved every moment, as well as the education. Definitely a memorable and worthwhile experience.

We had a great time swimming in Kuza cave and kayaking on Uzi island!! Issa was so great and came along with us kayaking! Then we booked a separate trip with him for a cooking class and spice tour at Zito Spice Farm and that was amazing as well!
