Really a lovely trip. The only down side was or really delightful guide who was speaking for both Spanish and English language tourists. Not surprisingly, she easily made what she said in her native Spanish more complete than what she said in English. She was so enthusiastic and delightful we felt shorted by the contrast. My wife and I actually began to time what she said in Spanish with what she said in English. It was nearly two to one.

Outstanding tour led by our exceptional guide, Feliciano. The trip to Monserrat was an enjoyable and comfortable ride with our guide teaching us about Barcelona and Spanish history. The views at Monserrat were breathtaking even with a bit of morning fog. The front of the line early morning tour avoided the bus loads that arrived mid morning. The museum is a must visit and can easily be seen in an hour. The Cava vineyard tour, tasting and lunch was the perfect finish to the day and everyone in our group left with a few bottles for home. One of our favorite European tours of all time. Walks/Devour tours never disappoint.

Delightfully unexpected tour to a boutique wine producer followed by an authentic farmers lunch in the middle of the vineyard. Plenty of wine flowing! This was following a great morning looking around Montserrat and we did get there before the crowds! Highly recommend this tour and Luke our guide.

This entire tour was exceptional. Feliciano was the perfect guide. The trip to Monserrat was both beautiful and spiritual. Feliciano provided great information and recommendations but also allowed time to explore on our own. I especially liked that we had an early start so we missed the crowds coming later in the morning.

The second part of the tour at a local family is
Ed winery was everything you would imagine a family owned winery in Spain to be. The wines were exceptional, the interaction with the owner provided a very intimate experience and the lunch out in the middle of the vineyard was not only delicious but also like something from a movie.

Fantastic day trip. Monserrat, the Basilica, and the Black Madonna were very interesting. The visit to Joan’s house, cava cellar, cava and wine tasting and picnic was much fun. Valentina and Ariana were outstanding! Informative, interesting, and enjoyable to be around. Highly recommended tour!

The mountain formation, abbey, and hike of the surrounding area were all interesting. Views are incredible.
The tour to the Cava Winery was a highlight of our entire 2 weeks in Spain. The family-owned establishment produced and excellent product. By the tour guide was high-energy and welcoming. The views from the vineyards were spectacular. This was an experience that will stay with me for a long time.

Wow, what a way to spend the day outside of Barcelona! We thoroughly enjoyed this guided tour of the iconic Montserrat Monastery and family-run cava winery in the Penedes region. The Monastery is a quintessential Barcelona day trip destination in itself and then to head to a locally owned cava winery and meet the owner just elevates the entire experience! This is a unique combination of 2 fabulous experiences wrapped in one. The guide Valentina was absolutely wonderful, transportation was top-notch and length of the experience was spot-on. I highly recommend this quaint personalized tour to anyone looking for a unique day trip while visiting Barcelona.

Feliciano was a great tour guide.
He was able to describe the history and the area and food and wines in such a fun and entertaining way . It was so awesome to see such wonderful natural beauty as well as the splendor of the Cathedral and stain glass. The Joan Vinery experience was so unique .
Also, very intimate , family feeling .
Natalie was so enthusiastic with her explaining of the history and process of making cava wine . The welcome of cheese , crackers, chips with wine was just the beginning of tasting of some wines . The meal was made the owner's wife . Feliciano had us make the tomato bread , rubbing the garlic clove. Tomato and drizzling the olive oil. The meal was simple and so tasty. Sausage and white beans, coca Bread and piece of chocolate with sweet wine perfect way to end the meal. Feliciano answered all our questions.and gave us recommendations for restaurants , bars. .I asked about paella and churros.
His recommendations were excellent.
I would highly recommend going on this tour
