It is not normal for you to reserve, pay to enter the bookstore and on top of that have to wait in line for an hour. It's worth it, I couldn't tell you, because we decided not to go in at the end, we saw it from outside.

You pay €8 which is discounted if you buy something. Expensive prices. It's very cool but you come in, you see it and you leave...too many people and books like in any bookstore. Nothing special about that. Must visit but very expensive

I admit the expectations were high Harry Potter fan, but above all the books and for me it was a great disappointment, I'll explain the reasons: terrible management it was raining cats and dogs, we had to enter at 6pm and at 6.40pm I was in the queue in the pouring rain after that three staff people had told us different things: wait here, wait there, come in, confused we pointed out the inconsistency and apart from arguing among themselves, they treated us in a rude and impatient manner. The price of 8 euros is excessive, I thought it would be bigger and with more variety of books, and those on sale are tripled in price compared to the market price, I believe that what was supposed to be a temple of culture, a place for the diffusion of knowledge it has become just a very poorly managed tourist destination and I can only express my negative opinion and great disappointment

As soon as you enter you are "kidnapped" by the magical atmosphere... the staircase, the warm colors of the bookcases, everything takes you into the magical world of Harry Potter
Young and kind shop assistants give directions before entering and, if necessary, help to buy the ticket online

I've read many different things about Livraria Lello. That it was the inspiration for J.K. Rowling's Harry Potter saga, that it's the most beautiful bookstore in the world, and so on. Honestly, I found it to be a bookstore with beautiful architecture. However, I also think it's extremely touristy. You have to buy tickets in advance (8€), or else you can't go in. And even though it's quite well organized, you have to wait in line and share the bookstore with a lot of people. If you buy a book, they discount the price of the ticket. As a bookstore, there aren't many books, but it focuses on a few authors and series. I believe the vast majority of their income comes from people visiting, rather than from book sales.

Pretty, well kept, although 8 euros seems a bit much to me. It should be seen once and no more. lots of people but the queue isn't that terrible

Beautiful bookshop whose entry cost is €8 (which will then be deducted if you want to purchase something from the price of the book) You have to book online and then the queue outside is very fast as many people enter every half hour.

Overrated. Nice building but there are hardly any books, it is overcrowded and the books are very expensive. Not worth it.

Small bookshop linked to some scenes from Henry Potter, "otherwise no one would go there". With reservation at 5.30 pm and at a cost of €5.00 each. we immerse ourselves momentarily in this fantastic world, full of books with a large spiral staircase in the middle that leads to the upper floor, wandering among other curious people taking photographs and someone also interested in buying books.

Even if you have purchased tickets in advance, a half-hour queue to get in is inevitable. There are a lot of people inside and it is difficult to stop and take a photo. A photo is the only thing you can do. As a bookstore it leaves a lot to be desired. It's pretty, but overcrowding takes away some of its charm. Each ticket discounts what you buy, but you cannot accumulate tickets. That is, with 4 tickets you get discounts for 4 things but you can't add them for 1 book. Ultimately, disappointing.
