Transfer to the Ngorongoro crater via Olduvai Gorge. Ngorongoro is an impressive 20km wide volcanic crater with 600m walls. The views from the crater are breathtaking, and there is an ever-present abundance of wildlife due to the permanent water supply on the crater floor. Olduvai Gorge is famed for the discovery of 3.5 million year-old fossil fragments from an early human civilization. We will enjoy lunch at the crater and the afternoon will be spent at your fully Game drive. Overnight at Octagon Lodge.

The Silver Spark team Mr Abongo and our guide Peter provided a very professional efficient safe and value for money experience. This trip was amazing - the animals and sights were spectacular and the accommodation was all good. We saw all the big 5 and much more - and this trip whilst involving a lot of driving meant we saw the rare Grevies Zebras and Reticulated Giraffes in Samburu, Hippos, Rhinos, Lions and wonderful birds in Nakuru and loads more in the awe inspiring huge landscapes of the Mara. It was great time, right from the time we reached to Abongo for booking, he was understanding and responsive to any questions we could possibly ask him. On our arrival at Nairobi airport, we were given a warm welcome by our guide and driver, Brian. He was so experienced in the field. Very soft spoken in both languages-english, swahili, French and local. He actually went out of his way to make sure we were comfortable and able to see all animals during our Safaris and on the game drive.
During our game drive in Maasai Mara national park we were able to spot big five animals several times. We also enjoyed our accomodations. It wàs a life time experience, thank you Silver Spark Africa Safaris company for making this a lifetime experience!
