The Edinburgh Potter Trail Tour is a must if you have visited the Greater London area film locations. Charlie and Sam have a great tour of insiteful background stories of JK Rowling and Potter history. The small group concept is the way to go in the city locations.

Roisin was our guide and she was amazing.
She was so knowledgeable about the books, the films, and about the writing of the books .
The tour is a walking tour and very interactive .
There were only four of us on this tour so we had Roisin all to ourselves. She answered all our questions and gave us a wealth of information .
I highly recommend this tour.
Remember ask for Roisin if you can. She is the best.

A wonderful experience for myself and my partner during our first trip to Edinburgh. The tour was very insightful and fun, full to the brim with facts and stories surrounding the creation of Harry Potter and the inspiration behind the characters. As someone who loves history and backstories, I found this great, in addition to the visual aspects of the actual tour too, of course. Our guide, Charlie, was very friendly, positive and warm and really made the tour! Thank you so much, I will definitely be recommending to friends and family should they ever visit the city.

Loved our wizards impersonations. Great actress. My 7 yo thought he would be bored but he loved it and was completely captivated almost till the end. The rest of the group looked like they enjoyed it too.

The tour was amazing. Vharlie was able to relate the Edinburgh to the novel, and I was able to see the interesting places in Edinburgh. Highly recommended and it won't waste your time

I highly recommend anyone coming to Edinburgh and is a Harry Potter fan, to book this tour. It is very popular so get in early. The team are very helpful with booking and more importantly, very supportive with helping you reach the meeting points. This particularly is a feature that I’m sure would be very welcomed by foreigners. The teams keep you fully informed about where to meet and when. They are not hard to spot because they really to embrace the wizarding world! The tour we went on was a 90 minute tour, we where welcomed by both Samule and Becky who where extremely engaging and full of lots of knowledge. Well done to both and thank you for having us join.

Charlie was our tour guide for this tour and he was very passionate about Harry Potter and told us lots of good facts about JK Rowling and the Harry Potter story in Edinburgh. He even gave people time at the end of the tour to ask questions, would definitely recommend this tour to others when visiting Edinburgh.

The tour was amazing, with funny, interesting facts. Roisin, my guide created a great atmosphere where she gathered the group together with having a trivia quiz. She was so funny, charismatic and told us not only about Harry Potter but about Scotlands history. As a true Harry Potter fan, even I learned many new things.
