The Crocodile River is the focal point of this tour. It forms the southern border of the Kruger National Park; aptly named for the crocodiles that sun themselves on the sandbanks and hippos that wallow close by. The lodge near the river provides clients with privileged views of the park with animals coming close by. From the lodge, you are taken on 2 sunrise and two sunset 3 hour-long safari drives in pursuit of the Big 5 in Africa's best maintained and protected wildlife area. You can change one of your safari drives for a safari walk with an armed ranger if you want the on-foot experience of being on the menu for some of the denizens of this wilderness. There is a small extra charge for this change.

I was very happy with the program and support by Norman from Mmilo Tours. I got a lot of very detailed information and instructions upfront and everything was confirmed shortly before my trip. All mails got instant feedback and booking and payment process was easy and secure. All transfers, tours (Blyde Canyon) and safaris (Kruger sunrise and sunset game drive) were on time and an enjoyable experience. I liked it very much and was very happy with the service. I would always consult Mmilo Tours if I was taking another trip.
Just Pestana Lodge wasn't in the best shape. It seemed to me that the lodge has gotten old and renovations and maintenance are very necessary. They had a massive flood before I got there but stained furniture and service which did not pay attention has nothing to do with a flood. But that is not on Mmilo Tours.

Our group of four booked a 3-day luxury tour in Kruger National Park with Mmilo Tours, working specifically with Norman Lok. Unfortunately, just as we were traveling to Kruger, the weather and massive flooding there resulted in our lodge at Kruger being shut down very quickly (guests at our lodge were being evacuated by helicopter!). Norman persevered in trying to contact us about this situation at Kruger; however, he was unable due to our group not having access to wifi (due to a combination of load shedding and air travel on our part). That didn't stop Norman -- he actually intercepted our group at the airport before we boarded our plane to Kruger. And within just a few hours before he intercepted us, Norman booked an entirely different 3-day luxury safari for us at a different national park (Plenisberg) where weather was not an issue. We had an absolutely amazing experience on our newly booked safari in Plenisberg National Park. The staff, safari guide, and accommodations at Tshukudu Game Lodge were brilliant, providing an incredibly moving and profound experience for us. Our safari was an amazing end to our 2.5-week visit to South Africa, and our safari was everything and more that we were hoping for and needed. I cannot say enough positive things about Mmilo Tours, Norman Lok, and our lodge staff and safari guide. It. Was. Awesome.

This was a highlight of our recent trip to South Africa! The tours were precisely coordinated and completely organized. The ability to customize our trip saved me hours of time and their attention to all the details were very appreciated. Norman did a great job making sure we were informed of every step and that all tours, guides and the hotel details were in order.
It started with our driver pick up in Joburg with Anton, who was a wealth of information as we made our way out to Kruger. He even gave us tips for our journey's to the Garden Route that turned out to be awesome! WE loved the Safari rides with the park rangers, and our added day to Blyde River Canyon with Sam was spectacular! He was also, so nice and full of information! The Pestana Lodge was lovely and the staff fantastic.
I would highly recommend letting Norman and his team guide your trip to Kruger, they were all fabulous!

We’re only on day 2 of our 5 day tour and I’m ready writing a review.
Mmilo tours is the most customizable tour company I’ve ever worked with. We added a 2 day panorama tour to our Kruger itinerary and Anton, our guide was an enthusiastic, fountain of historical information and hilarious facts.
I could write a book about how much we loved Anton and enjoyed his company. From his fantastic culinary recommendations (Anton, I’ll be letting you know how the banana/mayo worked out) to just simply talking about the world and how to improve it the best we can, he was everything we could have asked for in a guide. He was warm hearted, kind, generous and an endless wealth of information.
Patrick, was also incredibly as he helped us customize our tour exactly how we wanted it to be and answered what was probably 300 questions.
From the day we landed In Johannesburg to the day our tour started, Patrick was there, ready and willing to help.
This tour is remarkable. If you are willing to learn, try something new and ready to loose your mind over the amount of wildlife you see - Mmilo tours is a company that cares deeply about your experience. I have no regrets about our tour choice.

Our experience with Mmilo tours was nothing short of amazing. My husband and I had originally planned this trip for September 2020, but COVID happened so we had to reschedule. We tried to make it work a few times in 2021 but eventually ended up doing it on May of this year. Patrick Hanratty accommodated our gazillion questions so graciously during those attempts, all the while making us feel so comfortable and at ease with the various itinerary changes (from our end). He is stellar at what he does!
The first day and a half of our tour, we had the pleasure of having Anton Joubert as our lovely tour guide. He picked us up right on time from our hotel and took us through the Panorama route to the park. Anton was as enthusiastic as he was knowledgeable! We really enjoyed his company and great recommendations!! If you have the opportunity to request for him, do so and you won’t regret it!!
It was truly an exhilarating bucket list adventure and I’m thankful for everyone involved in making it possible.

We did a Kruger Park Safari and Panorama route with Mmilo Tours back in January.
It was a great experience and I want to thank you for the whole setup – accommodation, transportation, safaris and of course an excellent guide Norman that made it even better!
Norman succeeded to squeeze the most important and scenic spots of the Panorama Route on our way back from the Safari and share with us many interesting facts and insights of the history, geography and economy.
We left hungry for more experiences and definitely will come back to South Africa again!

We usually see animals on TV, but seeing Hippos and Lions at close range its so amazing.My two teen kids never visited a game reserve they just visited the zoo.Seeing animals roaming freely i mean the big five was refreshing
