I would do this tour every time I return to La Paz. Had an amazing day, we saw several different species of dolphins, devil rays and sea lions and learned a ton about the geography, geology and ecosystems in the area. Also had some of the best ceviches I’ve ever had on a perfect private beach.

The most memorable part of this trip! Our tour guides were super nice very helpful and informative. We loved snorkeling! Our group couldn’t stop talking about how incredible it was. We were able to sail by dolphins and swim with sea lions. And I just loved hanging around a secluded beach while we ate our sandwiches and ceviche. Also, don’t use Apple Maps to find their location! It took us to a completely different area across the pier so stick to google maps.

This was an excellent experience! Some of the best snorkeling I’ve done and ive snorkeled quite a few places. The captain and guide created an excellent experience. They were very nice and accommodating. They provided lots of cool information during the boat ride. Swimming with sea lions was a once-in-a-lifetime experience that I’ll never forget. There were tons of beautiful fish and we were the only snorkel group in the water which was awesome (we went in late May). We also saw a pod of dolphins playing on the ride back. The ceviche lunch was delicious as well. I’d definitely recommend this tour!

Amazing experience snorkeling with Sea Lions! We saw Dolphins and Rays as well on the boat ride to and from. I highly recommend Sunrider Tours!

Mel was a fantastic guide, fluently switching between Spanish and English throughout the tour. She made sure we had fun and kept us safe. Hector was a great boat captain, steering us towards a bonus viewing of a dolphin pod to cap off an already great expedition.

Mariana and Hector were awesome hosts! The boat ride to the island is 1.5 hours, as suggested, bring a light sweater! It is windy and can be cold. The information provided by Mariana was awesome. Food was delicious, ceviche and and sammys for the folks who don’t like fish as well as some snacks and drinks. Got to see some stops along the way back as well. Tip well, bring sunscreen!

Otto and Hectar were great tour guide and captain
Otto very informative on the animals we saw and hectar FOUND the animals as we traveled back to la paz
His first sighting was a HUGE group of manta rays jumping out of the water. Ive never seen anything like it. Magnificent. Otto explained about manta rays (his favorite water animal)
Why they jump and interesting facts about them . Just when u thought the mantas couldn’t be topped. We ran into 2 juvenile humpback whales frolicking in the sea. We watched them for 30 minutes. Then upon entering the bay in la paz we found a pod of resident bottlenose dolphins
That put on a show for us.
The sea lion part of the tour was fine. 30 years ago we were treated to a sea lion snorkel that was fabulous. I was hoping for a re creation of that. Sadly totally different from 30 years ago. Im so glad i saw it then. Things have changed. Its still worth seeing now. The juvenile sea lions r so fun. And im glad the colony is thriving and that the tourists haven’t ruined it. Thank u Mexico for putting in some restrictions!!!!

The island espiritu los santos was beautiful with its arches. A great day trip. But wear warm clothes. Its chilly in the winter months

This was a wonderful day!! Booking was simple. Every encounter with staff was exceptional. Favi making sure I was all set with the arrangements. Hector the captain of the boat kept us on track and kept me from getting seasick! Cami was so fun. She shared information regarding sights we would pass, sea life, her top 3 diving experiences, oh and she had great taste in music that provided a perfect backdrop to our boat ride. Snorkeling was theeee best!!They provided a delicious lunch on a serene private beach after a hour of snorkeling. When we returned they offered footage via their GoPro for a nominal fee.
Hands down a day I will remember always!!!

I’m not sure there’s another tourist experience out there that allows you to interact with wildlife so closely and respectfully as the Sunrider Tours Espiritu Santo Island Snorkel & Sea tour. This tour was the highlight of our La Paz visit, and Cami and Hector were phenomenal guides and hosts! The tour starts out with a 1.5 hour ride to the northern end of Espiritu Santo, with gorgeous views of the desert landscape and rock formations. Then you spend about 1-1.5 hrs near the sea colony viewing the sea lions from the boat and in the water. Cami did an excellent job explaining snorkeling, especially to us newbies, and keeping our group together in the water. The sea lions were absolutely precious, zooming up to our group and eyeing us out of curiosity before diving quickly beneath us. I was within inches of a sea lion at several points. It’s the experience of a lifetime to be that close to such a cute, joyous sea animal in their habitat. Following snorkeling, we docked at a gorgeous cove with turquoise waters and our hosts served sandwiches and an absolutely delicious ceviche, the perfect post-swim food while on a Mexican beach. On our way back, we stopped at several points to look for whales and had a sea lion and dolphin swim in our wake. Our hearts were full as we docked at the marina that afternoon, and I would highly recommend this tour as a must-do for any visit to La Paz. If there’s any feedback I would give the operators, it would be that it would be nice to spend some more time in the water snorkeling, but this may be strictly regulated and also hard to do within a tight schedule. Overall 10/10!

Swimming with the sea lions was a memorable experience. The beach we visited on Espiritu Santo island was beautiful but unfortunately we only had a few minutes there which was disappointing
