Day hikes in Zion National Park are tailored to the abilities and interests of your group. The itinerary listed is just a few examples of hikes or stops you and your group may make throughout the day.
Zion’s has a unique array of plants and animals which will enchant you as you absorb the rich history of the past and enjoy the excitement of our Zion Day Hike.
On a full-day hike, we’ll pack a delicious picnic lunch for you to enjoy. Along the way, our knowledgeable guides will share stories of the park’s human and geological history as well as information about flora and fauna that will make the day both enjoyable and educational.

*Zion National Park has implemented a shuttle system, expect to ride this with your guide to access certain hikes/ trails.

What an experience! We had a beautiful start to the morning with perfect weather and felt absolutely prepared for the day thanks to our guide, Justin. Hiking the Narrows was epic and the overlook trail was the best way to end the day. It was an excellent trip.

Our day was so amazing from start to finish! Justin was our guide and was extremely knowledgeable, was so much fun, made a mean lunch, and by the end of the day we felt like he was part of our crew! Not to mention he takes great photos. HIGHLY recommend asking for Justin if you book with Good Trip Adventures!

The guide (Victoria) was amazing. We are best described as enthusiastic but non-athletic and we were concerned about being able to hike in Zion. Victoria listened and was able to shape the day and hikes to our abilities and interests. Mom and dad were too tired to go back out after lunch but she took our kids on another hike in the remaining time and they had a blast. For people who don't regularly hike, it was a wonderful day and Victoria answered all of our nature questions and made sure we had a great time. Highly recommend.

Adam lead us on an amazing adventure that filled us with wonder and awe but Adam provided so much historical context and color that it made the day that much more enjoyable. Highly recommend this outfit as well as Adam.

My wife, myself and another couple (all senior citizens) had a wonderful and safe time hiking several trails in beautiful Zion National Park with Khadijah as our guide. Khadijah was very friendly, knowledgeable of the trails and made sure we had a truly joyful experience.

We went on the Small Group Full Day Zion hike and it was amazing!! Matt was our guide and he couldn’t have been nicer. It started with communication which was great from the company and Matt. We had to make special arrangements for pick up because we had to drop our dog off at doggy daycare and Good Trip couldn’t have been more accommodating. The night before our excursion, Matt texted us and made sure we knew where and what time to meet as well as what we needed for the day and what we could expect. Matt was on time and planned an amazing day with three different hikes so we felt like we really saw all that Zion National Park had to offer. Matt made sure the hikes were within the group’s skill level and we all felt safe with him. Matt brought snacks for us, gave us rest stops as well as a beautiful spot by the river for lunch and gave us choices of what we wanted to see. Matt was kind, personable and very knowledgeable about the park and was able to answer all of our questions. Don’t hesitate to take this full day excursion and consider yourself lucky if you get Matt as your guide!

Matt was a superb guide, happily answering all our questions and pointing out interesting aspects of our hikes, including geologic formations and how they were created, indigenous plants and trees and their uses today and by native Americans. His overarching objective was to make sure we enjoyed every element of our experience. He also was our guide for a private tour of Bryce Canyon. We highly recommend him and Good Trip Adventures.

What an amazing time we had in Zion. Dustin was an excellent tour guide and guided us through the park and even waded through the Narrows. We all learned so much from him and enjoyed seeing and hearing about so many different aspects of Zion. Would highly recommend Dustin. He was the best!
