Our guide was great and we could understand his English well. We absolutely loved the tour in the castle.

Our driver got us safely to the Cesky Krumlov and back to Prague as it was about 5.5 hours of driving. Our tour guide gave us good history on the way to Cesky Krumlov. The tour guide of the castle was very informative and made the tour fun. It was a long day, but worth it!

Very unpunctual departure, hour and a half late. And the free time there was not extended, so it was a rush to visit the town. The guide is very good and the visit to the castle is 100% recommended.
A shame the organization of the hours is so bad.

I was the only person on the tour as it was in the off season and my guide, Jan, was excellent. He was very knowledgeable and we chatted non stop all the way. His knowledge of the history of Prague and Cesky Krumlov was excellent. He explained the castle and gave me a personal tour through the museum explaining everything I wanted to know plus more. I had plenty of free time and was able to see everything I wanted to. Great driver and good English. A very enjoyable day.

We had primarily booked a tour instead of taking the train because we wanted an English guide. But the guide Anna( or Iana?) had a heavy accent and could not speak grammatically correct English either, so after a while one just stopped listening altogether. Thankfully the castle tour was done by another guide there, so it was much better. Would recommend that you try another operator with better guides for this trip

A little rushed through the tour of the castle, wasn't given time to take pictures. Dropped off far from the hotel because of the narrow streets but found on the walk back they could have dropped us off closer.

Our tour guide was Anna. She was great. She did have a pretty heavy accent, so we had to listen very carefully.

They picked us up at our hotel near Mala Strana and drove us over to Wenceslas Square. We then transferred to a large van (mid-sized bus), which held ~20 people. It was comfortable. It took us a good 3+ hours to get to Cesky Krumlov, primarily due to back traffic. Anna spoke nearly the entire way and then lead us around the city for ~20 minutes, then gave us ~2 hours of free time. We met at the town center at ~3:15pm and Anna took us to the Castle for a tour. We then caught the bus back at 5:30pm and got back at ~8:00pm.

We paid $100 per person but, if I had to do it again, I would have rather just caught a bus from Prague's main station on gone on our own for ~$18 per person round trip. But we're pretty self-sufficent and can read history on our phones. But if you like tour guides, this is a good one.

From the pickup to the drop-off it was a great experience, The group was very friendly and a very special 5-stars to our guide Jaroslav who did an excellent job. He is very pleasant and competent and knowledgeable as well as fleunt in many languages. He is an asset to your company.

Beautiful city with lots of history, longer bus ride would be only downside

Short version: No control over the group; Poorly planned itinerary; Unsympathetic toward the needs of those with handicaps; Reckless driving on back roads; Driver and guide got in a snit; Driver refused to drop us at hotel; AND THEN DRIVER INTENTIONALLY HIT ME WITH THE DOOR as we got out.

Our guide lost control over the group of about 25 even before we got to Cesky. Instead of someplace cute our guide stopped at McDonald's where she couldn't round everyone up. That lack of control continued throughout the tour, ending with 2 people causing us to leave Cesky over an our late ... finally getting us back to the hotel 1930-2200. 23 of us waited for 2 tourists for over an hour because the guide never established ground rules or kept close tabs on her group.

My friends and I have orthopedic problems. The Castle at Cesky is on the side of a steep hill with a great overlook. Instead of stopping for the Castle tour on the way DOWN the hill, she marched us past the Castle to a restaurant for lunch, then marched us UP the hill for the Castle tour, and then marched us DOWN the hill for what we thought was the rendezvous with the bus. I was able to make it. My friends were not. They didn't get to see the inside of the Castle ... which they paid for. One by-product of not controlling her group and the needless backtracking, was there was only 15 minutes allowed to see the town and shop. In addition, rather than bringing the coach to the town square, as we were led to believe, those of us with handicaps were forced to walk about another mile to a parking lot where we cooled our heels while awaiting 2 people who left the tour to go shopping. I can only surmise this company is too cheap to pay for the privilege of driving its coach into the town square where taxis and private vehicles drive and park daily.

Now, being over an hour late to depart Cesky we encountered a highway closure. Our driver went off on back roads ... now at night ... but now because he's late (for who knows what) he starts driving like a maniac ... screeching tires ... sudden braking ... improper use of headlights at night, etc. Others in our tour began to yell at him. We had a very pregnant woman aboard. On the way back we made NO comfort stops. We made 2 on the way to Cesky. None on the way back.

At some point along Mr. Toad's Wild Ride the driver and the guide got into an argument. I don't speak Czech so who knows over what. That persisted until the guide left the coach at the hotel stop immediately before ours. The guide should have stayed with the coach, but who knows what she was late for.

Now, here's where it gets really good. Our hotel is next, right? The driver stops in the middle of a dark intersection, opens the door, and says the name of our hotel, "Unic." "Where?" I said. "Unic," he says. "Where?" He points to the street. I tell him I don't see the hotel and he must take us there. He moves the bus forward about 20 feet, opens the door and says, "Unic." And we go through the same routine ... "where?" ... "Unic ... "Take us there," etc. Our hotel, it turns out, was about a half block down the street but we didn't recognize the dark intersection where he was attempting to abandon us. All of this would have been avoided had the guide stayed aboard.

I was the last of my party of 4 to get off the coach. As I was getting off, one foot on the ground, the other on the coach, he closed the door on my shoulder, nearly knocking me to the ground. I'm 100% positive he did it intentionally because we wouldn't get out of the coach in an unfamiliar spot.

It's 4+ hours each way by bus. Do yourself a favor: take the train, spend the night, and enjoy the little town on your way to someplace else. But for heaven's sake never go with Best Tour.
