Maria was an engaging professional with a causal vibe and an adoration of all things Spanish, especially RICE! The market tour was interesting-great information, delicious tastes, with opportunities to buy food, ask questions, and soak in the market atmosphere. The quick walk to their classroom was easy and she made getting to know the others in the 12 person class seamless. We all participated in the making of the paella, had so many laughs, and ate delicious food before, during, and then at the meal. The classroom is roomy and cozy at the same time. Clean, orderly, yet inviting. We took( and they did as well) lots of great pictures for the memory books. Everyone participates. We had grandparents, a young family, some teens, and a couple inter 50's- we all bonded! Makes for a different night of you trip and worth every penny!!

Fabulous experience! Maria was very knowledgeable and made the experience inclusive and fun for all ages. It was great to get a tour of the market with her and learn in depth about the cuisine.

We had a wonderful evening with Maria & her team, and met a great group of people from the US. She did an amazing job teaching us how to make great paella, appetizers, two types of sangria, and we really enjoyed the Boqueria market shopping & tasting experience. She was very informative and provided a wealth of great information including recommendations for places to eat and things to do in Barcelona. One of the true best highlights of Barcelona. We would definitely recommend this class! A must do while you are here!

This experience was much more than my wife and I anticipated. We thought it would be good, but was great! The shopping and touring in the market gave great insights. Everyone in the group of 10 had tasks and this made the meal so much better, or was it the drinks🤣. We can’t wait to try another cooking class, but cannot see how this one can be surpassed. Thank you!

The tour or rather experience was amazing .Our tour guide ,Helina, was very knowledgeable friendly and accommodating. She spent time at the market explaining the types of fresh ingredients to use for the paella. Next Helina took the 9 of us back to her cooking school which was in a cute venue. Everyone was involved making paella along with sangria. The table was set elegantly for our dinner. At one point we tasted the ink from a squid. I would highly recommend Helina’s tour. All of us really enjoyed the experience.

Time really well spent. Good food, good wine, good laughs - what else is needed for a great evening? The event was packed with information, tips, tastes, conversations and new skills. Never saw milking a squid....
The event organisation is top starting from red umbrella and ending with step-by-step instructions.
It was a great experience for us.

We really enjoyed our time with Helina and the other guests! The food and sangria was tasty! We loved the tomato bread!! We would have preferred less time in the market and more time prepping or cooking, the tasks we did were minimal and there was quite a bit of standing around. With that said, it was still a fun experience not to be missed in Barcelona!!

What an amazing experience, Maria was great. was great. We went through the market to buy our ingredients she was very knowledgeable and explained everything so well. The cooking class and set up was amazing, thoroughly enjoyed the evening.
