See the mangrove estuary near Marco Island by boat! Explore the complex and diverse ecosystem full of beauty and wildlife on our ecotour. Wildlife sightings may include dolphins and many species of birds such as osprey, bald eagle, pelican, tern, gull, skimmer, plover, egret, heron, and roseate spoonbill amongst others. Seasonally wildlife sightings may include manatee, sea turtles, sharks, iguanas Fully guided by a certified Florida Master Naturalist. Tour includes a one-hour beach stop on a barrier island to swim, beach comb, or look for exotic shells.

Tour the barrier islands surrounding Marco Island Florida. Marco Island is a barrier island in the Gulf of Mexico off Southwest Florida, linked to the mainland by bridges south of the city of Naples. It’s home to resort hotels, beaches, marinas and golf courses, as well as a network of inland waterways. A long, sandy beach covers most of the west coast, with resort hotels in the south. Tigertail Beach Park has a tidal lagoon, popular for kayaking and paddleboarding.

Experience the mangrove estuary of the Rookery Bay Preserve. Rookery Bay is a National Estuarine Research Reserve in Naples, Florida supported by the Friends of Rookery Bay.

See the quaint fishing village of Goodland. Goodland is a census-designated place in Collier County, Florida, United States. The population was 267 at the 2010 census. It is part of the Naples–Marco Island Metropolitan Statistical Area.

Our tour includes Gulf waters weather permitting. Florida's Southwest Gulf Coast contains a constellation of enticing coastal gems. Stunning beaches, including Ft. Myers Beach, Tigertail Beach and Pensacola Beach, fringe the Gulf, down the I-75 from Tampa to Naples.

The boat tour will cruise by Cape Romano to see the famous Dome House. The Cape Romano Dome House is an abandoned house consisting of six dome-shaped modules on stilts, located approximately 300 feet offshore from Cape Romano Island, south of Marco Island, in the Ten Thousand Islands of Collier County, Florida.

We went on the Florida Island tour with Captain Nate and Julie last week, and had so much fun! Saw many dolphins and Capt. Nate is known as the dolphin whisperer because as soon as he said dolphin, they started jumping behind the boat! We got amazing pics and videos!! He also took us to a bird rookery and Nate knew all the birds! We collected many shells and took a dip on shell island. This was our second tour with them and we all highly recommend Nate and Julie!!

Captain Gary is a 5th generation Southwest Floridian with an extensive historical knowledge of the area. He was personable, fun, and a great narrator for our excursion. We felt safe and super comfortable. We collected some beautiful shells off the southernmost coast of Marco Island, and swam a little in the Gulf. It was a fun little excursion!

The shelling spot had tons and tons of shells. Incredible! The kids had a great time, as did the adults. Great experience.

What an awesome adventure! Captain Nate was an excellent tour guide … the weather was still warm enough to get out on the water for a relaxing boat ride and to get out and beach comb for shells!

The boat tour was private for the same price as some of the group boat tours. The boat was clean and we started on time. Captain Nate was great, highly recommend.

The boat trip with Nate as the Captain was a perfect 2 hours. We saw dolphins, manatees, Turtles. Plus, enjoyed hearing the history of the area.

Loved seeing the manatees, dolphins, birds and islands. Captain Nate was so informative and really knew what he was talking about. He was so accommodating to our special mobility issues. Really enjoyed this trip

Well let me start out by saying you will not find a better sweetheart of a man than Captain Nate. He was awesome.He is full of knowledge and is educated on wildlife and shells. He was in no hurry to give us the experience we desired.
During our 3 hour boat tour we went to Kice Island found a lot of shells and he also had a basket that he gave us that he had found himself gave us a demonstration on shells. Then went to Cape Romano Dome houses which by far was the coolest thing we have seen ( and we have traveled a lot) Nate gave us the history on that and even had a book of the domes and what they used to look like. Took us to another island where there were 30 different kinds of birds nesting in the trees. We had the time of our lives and couldn’t have asked for a better captain with a sweet soul. We booked another with him for another day due to his awareness of the islands kindness and knowledge . I will not be able to thank this man enough for our trip of a life time. We had the time of our lives. Thank Captain Nate you are the best!!!!! We will see you next year.
