This is the most complete small group tour for up 8 people and we visit the interior of monuments that others don't see, and all tickets are included.
Arriving in Braga, we will start by visiting the Bom Jesus Sanctuary and contemplating its magnificent staircase to the top of the church.
After a top view of the city, time to visit the oldest cathedral in the country where we will have exclusive access to the chapels and high choir of the monument.
A delicious traditional Portuguese lunch will be served in a restaurant where you can taste the so famous "Vinho Verde".
During the afternoon we visit Guimarães when we have time for a calm walk on foot through the medieval city where we will enter in his Castle that was known for the birth of a new kingdom: Portugal.
Then we will visit the Palace of the Dukes where we are dazzled by the luxuries of royalty from other times. A whole history of Portugal will be told by our local guides who have always followed the group.

Our guide was Pedro and he was fantastic. He speaks four languages and needed three of them with our small group. He is excellent at responding to various age groups and nationalities. We recommend this tour highly.

Santuario di Bom Jesus di Monte, bellissimo,! Purtroppo quando siamo andati non ci ha assistito il tempo, pioveva!! Assolutamente da vedere, tanti scalini da fare ma ne vale veramente la pena, dislivello di circa 300m. Si può raggiungere a piedi, con auto o con la funicolare!

Pedro was knowledgeable, personable, humorous, and a great host with splendid stories to share !! Great day in spite of iffy weather that held up for us most of the tour !!

Pedro, our guide, was absolutely fantastic. He was so knowledgeable and easy going which made the whole trip so smooth, seamless and enjoyable. As a solo traveller this really meant a lot to me. I loved all the places we went, all the knowledge annd history behind it and I really felt like it gave us a good snapshot of Northern Portugal. I would highly recommend this tour.

Had a great day with Pedro in a small group of six to Braga and Guimaraes. Weather was a bit dismal but Pedro made the experience interesting. We enjoyed a nice lunch and had free time to explore on our own. Thank you Pedro.

Pedro was very good. He was punctual and he provided a good briefing of what the tour was going to be about. Both towns visited were very good, history of each of them was good. The lunch provided was excellent. Overall, this was a really good tour.

I really like small group tours. Alejandro, our driver, was great. He was so knowledgeable about Braga and Guimaraes and the Cathedral in Braga and the Castle in Guimaraes were sites to behold. Also, the lunch at Diane's was so delicious. I would recommend this tour to anyone. Both places are must visit, and going there with a small tour is well worth it.
