Took the transfer from Budapest river cruise port to Budapest airport. Driver arrived as scheduled to pick us up. He was a careful driver and very personable. I will use this same service in the future if needed.

This was the most well organized way to go from the Budapest Airport to the cruise ship. They communicated by WhatsApp with clear instructions and pictures of exactly where to meet and of the car that would pick us up - a Tesla. The driver spoke fluent English and was an excellent driver. While other’s were waiting on the ship’s tour company to get other flyers from various planes at various times we were relaxing on board. It was simply flawless and I highly recommend this company.

That’s the least pleasant experience I had ever had in transfer service.
On 13 Sep 2023, we arrived Budapest by air. As informed via Viator, the driver would pick up us inside the airport and, for mutual identification, he would show my name on a piece of paper. Such approach is commonly used and it is what we experienced in previous transfer services. However, for about 10 minutes, we did not find my name on any of the papers held by the drivers inside the arrival hall. Unexpectedly, we received a phone call and told us to go to the stop “6” outside the airport. By then, we had no choice but followed the instruction. Disappointedly, there was not any car at stop “6”. A few minutes later, an electric car approached stop “6” and the driver asked us to get in it. What was certain at that moment was the name of the hotel that the driver could mention.
On 17 Sep 2023, we were to leave the hotel for the airport at 15:30. At 15:15, we got a call and the caller queried why we were not in the hotel. For that moment, we were just a few blocks away from the hotel and the pickup time was not yet due. We reached the hotel at 15:20, but finding no driver there. By 15:30, none showed up and picked us up. We then went outside the hotel to sort out what might have happened. To our surprise, the same guy whom we met on 13 Sep was there. He instructed us to get in his electric car and confirmed that we were going to the airport. He did not speak with us any more on the way to the airport. Strangely, the car stopped outside the arrival hall and we were asked to get off the car. We had no chance to question him because he drove away as soon as we got off the car. Till now, we feel puzzled why he did not drive to the departure hall.
We hope that’s the single incident in the transfer service in Budapest.

I cannot say enough good stuff about the lovely couple that picked us up at the airport and took us to our riverboat. My flight was delayed so many times and I kept them updated the whole day with Whatsapp. They would quickly respond and tell me not to worry that they would be there and they were. I arrived 10 hours after my scheduled arrival time, sent them a message and they were there in 15 minutes. Not only did they drive us to our riverboat but assisted us with getting our luggage to the boat in the rain. We had a lovely conversation with them and they were just charming and amazing people. After a terrible day of travel they made us feel relaxed.
